Hauptsächlich Asphalt, ausgenommen steile Abfahrt Unterrain auf Schotter, Tour auch mit Einschränkungen für Renn- und Tourenrad möglich (Abfahrt Unterrain schieben oder tragen!). Wer mag, kann auch Abstecher zu den Montiggler Seen bei Eppan vornehmen, dann MTB empfehlenswert. Von Terlan aus über Radweg (asphaltiert) an der Etsch entlang Richtung Bahnhof Sigmundskron, dort auf die Hauptstrasse und Bahnübergang queren. Hauptstrasse weiter und kurze Zeit später rechts auf Radweg Via Claudia Augusta / Etschtal. Diesem immer weiter folgen bis Radweg Kalter - Auer erreicht ist, Brücke über Etsch Richtung Kalterer See wählen und dem Radweg weiter folgen bis Kalterer See. Oberhalb des Sees entlang und durch Weinberge und Obsthaine Richtung Eppan. Am Ende des Radweges sollte die Unterführung an der SS 42 gewählt werden, von dort aus weiter Richtung St. Michael, St. Pauls und Missian. Die steile Abfahrt Richtung Unterrain erfolgt erst auf losem Schotter! Der Weg führt durch den Wald und führt anschliessend auf Asphalt Richtung Hauptsrasse (links halten). Auf der Hauptstrasse nur ein kurzes Stück Richtung Andrian und rechts auf Radweg Richtung Schoberbrücke, die auch später benutzt wird (Ampelschaltung an der Brücke bitte beachten!). Nach Überquerung der Etsch auf den Radweg Richtung Meran und gleichen Weg zurück bis Terlan. Fazit: Schöne flache Radtour an der Etsch entlang, unterwegs viele Möglichkeiten zur Rast und zur Einkehr. Am Kalterer See beispielsweise Gasthof Klughammer. Für Weininteressierte ist diese Strecke empfehlenswert, da in Terlan, Kaltern und auch Eppan mehrere Winzergenossenschaften vorhanden sind, die auch Führungen anbieten.
