Der GPS Track beginnt auf dem Bernhardus. Hier gibt es jedoch keine Parkmöglichkeit. Empfohlen wird der Parkplatz am Furtlepass zwischen Weiler i.d.B. und Degenfeld. Hier gibt es immer einen freien Parkplatz, außer am Bernhardusfest. Vom Furtlepass geht es gleich zum Bernhardus hoch, die ersten 150hm. Dann fährt man den langen Schotterweg in Richtung Weiler, um dann in Herdlingsweiler am hintersten Haus vorbei wieder die Höhe anzugehen. Der Track führt jedoch nicht ganz wieder zum Hornberg hoch, sondern man kommt nach einem kleinen Matschtrail auf eine Wiese über Waldstetten, an dem man unbedingt die Aussicht auf den Stuifen, Rechberg und Hohenstaufen, also den Dreikaiserbergen, genießen sollte. Danach fährt man die Teerstraße nach Weilerstoffel, wo man im "Hölzle" und "Veit" nötige Kalorien und Flüssigkeiten nachtanken kann. Jetzt kommt der längste Anstieg der Tour, es geht auf das Kalte Feld, das letzte Stück ist nur für gute Kletterer mit guter Technik. Ich habe zwar jede Stelle schon im Fahren genommen, jedoch nie am Stück. (Ich übe noch!) Auf dem Kalten Feld gibt es das Knörzerhaus und das Franz-Keller-Haus, in denen man die Kalorien ergänzen kann. Vor dem Franz-Keller-Haus gibt es eine kleine Aussichtsplattform - die Villa Maus, die man unbedingt besteigen sollte. Hier kann man auch mitgebrachte Würste am Lagerfeuer grillen, oder die Würste am Franz-Keller-Haus kaufen (Sonntags und in den Sommerferien geöffnet)! Wer noch Lust hat, kann noch eine Runde um das Kalte Feld drehen. (nicht im Track enthalten, sollte ich mal machen). Wer Interesse am Segelfliegen hat, kann dann bei Flugbetrieb am Hang zum Hornberg den Segelfliegern bei Start und Landung zuschauen. Den Hang zum Hornberg kann man auf verschiedenen Wegen nehmen, den für mich interessantesten habe ich im Track aufgenommen. Von der Nordseite des Hornbergs hat man am Windsack nochmal die Gelegenheit die Aussicht, wie vorhin auf der Wiese über Waldstetten, zu genießen. Das letzte Stück führt dann wieder zum Ausgangspunkt hinunter zum Parkplatz auf dem Furtlepass. Der GPS Track ist so editiert, daß er beim Furtlepass beginnt, die eigentliche Fahrt ging vom Bernhardus aus.

The GPS track starts on the Bernhardus. Here there is no parking. The parking is recommended at Furtlepass between hamlet idB and Degen field. There is always a free parking space, except on Bernhardusfest. From Furtlepass it goes straight to Bernhardus high, the first 150hm. Then you drive the long dirt road towards the hamlet, and then at the far past the house again address the height in oven Ling hamlet. However, the track does not quite back to Hornberg high, but you come to a small mud trail to a meadow on forest Stetten, where you should definitely enjoy the view of the Stuifen, Rechenberg and Hohenstaufen, so the Three Emperors mountains. Then you drive the tar road to Weilerstoffel where you "Vitus" can refuel necessary calories and fluids in the "Hölzle" and. Now comes the longest climb of the Tour, it comes to the cold box, the last piece is only for good climbers with good technique. Although I have taken any body already in the drive, but never at a time. (I'm still practicing!) In the Cold field there is the Knörzerhaus and the Franz-Basement-house, in which you can add to the calories. Before Franz-Basement-house there is a small viewing platform - the Villa mouse that you should definitely climb. Here you can also brought sausages on campfire grill, or the sausages on Franz Keller House for sale (Sunday and opened in the summer)! Who else wants, yet can do a lap around the field cold. (Not included in the track, I should make time). If you are interested in gliding, can then watch the gliders taking off and landing in flight operations on a slope to Hornberg. The tendency to Hornberg can take various routes, the most interesting for me I recorded in the track. From the north side of the Hornberg you have again the opportunity to enjoy the view, as before in the meadow on forest Stetten, the windsock. The last piece then leads back to the starting point down to the parking lot on the Furtlepass. The GPS track is edited so that it starts at Furtlepass, the actual journey started from the Bernhardus.
