Es ist eigentlich fast ne Flachetappe - gerade mal 500hm, fast nur Waldautobahnen und Trails im Wald, trotzdem eine tolle Runde auf der Ostalb. Sie startet zwischen dem Bernhardus und dem Zwerenberg mitten im Wald und führt zunächst durch die Glasklinge nach Degenfeld. Die Glasklinge hat an der Quelle eine etwas knifflige Stelle, an der es grobe Steine zu überwinden gilt. Nur wirklich guten Fahrern gelingt es hier ohne den Fuß auf den Boden zu setzen, die Stelle zu meistern. Danach wirds auf einer breiten Waldautobahn etwas gemütlicher. Im Tal sieht man Degenfeld jedoch nur an einer Ecke, denn es geht gleich wieder über die Schweinssteige hoch und oben wieder zurück zum Ausgangspunkt. Von dort fährt man auf den Bernhardus mit der Kapelle auf den Aussichtsfelsen, der zu einer kleinen Verschnaufpause einlädt, um die Landschaft zu genießen. Dann gibts nen kleinen Trail mit etwas anspuchsvollerem Ende, wo man wieder auf die Autobahn einbiegt. Mit hohem Tempo kann man dann zum Furtlepass abfahren, wo der nächste Abzweig wartet. Kurz unterhalb des Furtlespass gehts etwas anspruchsvoller (trotzdem für jeden machbar) am Bernhardus weiter nach Norden. Noch bevor der Bernhardusfuß erreicht wird gehts wieder hoch zum Ausgangspunkt.

It's actually almost ne flat stage - just 500hm, almost only forest highways and trails in the forest, still a great round on the Ostalb. It starts between the Bernhardus and Zwerenberg the middle of the forest and leads first through the glass blade of sword box. The glass blade has a slightly tricky point where it needs to be overcome rough stones at the source. Only really good riders succeed here without setting foot on the ground, to master the body. Then it gets on a wide forest highway a little more comfortable. In the valley you Degenfeld but looks only at a corner, because it goes right back on the pig walks up and up back to the starting point. From there we drive on the Bernhardus with the chapel on the lookout, which is ideal for a short break to enjoy the scenery. Then there NEN small trail with something anspuchsvollerem end, where you einbiegt back on the highway. With high speed you can then go to Furtlepass where the nearest branch is waiting. Just below the Furtlespass go a little more demanding (still doable for everyone) on Bernhardus further north. Even before the Bernhardusfuß is achieved go back up to the starting point.
