Los gehts wieder in Gotha, Goldbacher Siedlung am Gemeinschaftshaus. Vorbei am Krankenhaus zum Boxberg. Ab Gospiteroda geht ein schöner Splittweg bis nach Schönau v.d. Walde. Dann steil hoch zum Ziegelberg, vorbei an der Hotelruine und auf der Straße Richtung Tambach-Dietharz. Am Hotel Rotebachsmühlegeht es dann links ab in den Wald. Jetzt geht es gut 4,5 Km mäßig bergauf. Oben angekommen befindet sich der schöne und urige Gasthof "Steigerhaus". ich fahre vorbei und nun wieder ca. 4 Km bergab nach Luisenthal. Durch Luisenthal bis zur Abbiegung Ohratalsperre. Hinter dem kleine Imbiss in der Kurve geht es dann richtig steil bergauf Richtung Oberhof. Oben kommt man dann an der Wegscheide heraus. Dort befindet sich ein Gasthof mit wunderbaren Thüringer Bratwürsten vom Rost. Hier wird die Straße überquert und es geht dann bergab durch den Wald zum Lütschestausee. Schöner Stausee mit Staumauer und Campingplatz. Einmal umfahren und weiter geht es stetig steigend nach Oberhof, vorbei am Panorama-Hotel durch den Ort. Man kann auch eine kleinen Abstecher zum Skihang Fallbach machen und am Grenzadler wieder auf den Wander -Rennsteig fahren Richtung Schmücke. Wir sind durch die Innenstadt gefahren und sind rechts am kleinen Skihang durch den Wald neben der Straße nach Suhl gefahren. Dann links über die Bogenbrücke und auf den Rennsteig Richtung Schmücke. Jetzt wieder nur bergauf! Achtung! Den Abzweig rechts zum Schneekopf nicht verpassen. Nun vielleicht noch 2 km bis Schneekopf. Noch einmal kräftig bergauf und oben angekommen, kann man die wunderbare Aussicht nach Oberhof oder Rennsteigautobahn geniesen. Zurück bis zum Abzweig Suhl sind wir dann Straße gefahren. Über die Bogenbrücke auf den Rennsteig bis Grenzadler. von dort geht es dann linker Hand am Biatlonstadion vorbei und über einen befestigten Weg zum Falkenstein und Schmalwasser-Talsperre. Wir fahren an der Westseite der Talsperre hoch bis zur Staumauer und bergah nach Tambach-Dietharz. Von dort Straße bis Catterfeld und wieder hoch auf den Ziegelberg nach Schönau v.d. Walde. Zuletzt über den Boxberg nach Gotha. Diese Tour ist für gut durchtrainierte Biker zu empfehlen. Die Anstiege sind teilweise heftig und lang. Ich bin die Tour am 27.9.2009 bei schönem Wetter gefahren.

Here we go again in Gotha, Goldbacherstrasse settlement at the Community House. Passing the hospital for Boxberg. From Gospiteroda is a beautiful Splittweg up to Schönau vd Walde. Now it's a good 4.5 Km moderately & nbsp; uphill. At the top is the beautiful and quaint Inn & quot; Steiger Haus & quot ;. I pass now and again about 4 km downhill after Luis valley. By Luis valley to the turn Ohratalsperre. Behind the small snack in the curve it goes really steep uphill direction Oberhof. & Nbsp; Up to then come out at the crossroads. There is an inn with wonderful Thuringian sausages from the grill. Here the road is crossed and it goes downhill through the forest to Lütschestausee. Beautiful lake with dam and campsite. Machined once and on it goes steadily rising to Oberhof, past the Panorama hotel by location. It is also a & nbsp; make small detour to the slope case and Bach on Grenzadler back on the hiking -Rennsteig go towards decorations. We drove through the city center and are right at the small slope through the forest. & Nbsp; drove off the road to Suhl & nbsp; Then turn left over the bridge and arch on the Rennsteig direction decorations. Once arrived sharply uphill and above, you can enjoy the wonderful view to Oberhof or Rennsteig motorway. Back to the junction Suhl we drove road. About the arched bridge on the Rennsteig to Grenzadler. from there it goes on the left hand Biatlonstadion past and a paved road to Falkenstein and narrow water-dam. We go up on the west side of the dam to the dam and bergah to Tambach-Dietharz. From there road to Elliman and back up to the mountain of bricks to Schönau vd Walde. Last on the Boxberg to Gotha. This tour is recommended for well-trained cyclists. These increases are partially hard and long. I drove the tour on 27.9.2009 in fine weather.
