Senso orario – Km 25 – Dislivello 850m – Altezza min. 80m / max. 670m
L'itinerario parte dal piazzale di Casa Rossa a Gorizia e dopo qualche centinaio di metri raggiunge il valico pedonale del Rafut. Da qui si svolge interamente in territorio sloveno.
Raggiungeremo così la stazione della Transalpina e successivamente il paese di Salcan.
Oltrepassato il paese, al semaforo proseguiamo diritti in salita verso Lokve. Dal semaforo, dopo 2,5 km di salita, all'altezza di un tornante, lasciamo la strada asfaltata per intraprendere sulla sx un bel singletrack, a volte tecnico, che dopo 2,5 km sbucherà su una comoda carrareccia che sale da Plave. Svoltiamo a dx in salita e dopo qualche centinaio di metri all'altezza di un quadrivio proseguiamo a sx verso Vodice, che raggiungeremo dopo un paio di km (circa 12 dalla partenza). Dal monumento ai caduti si scende lungo un singletrail (diff.S2 con tratti di S3) che riporta al quadrivio, proseguiamo diritti in salita fino a Montesanto (Sveta Gora).
Dal santuario scendiamo lungo la strada dove si celebra la Via Crucis, tagliando qualche tornante in un sentiero nel bosco di diff. S1/S2.
Ricongiuntosi alla statale per Lokve svoltiamo a sx, e dopo qualche centinaio di metri prendiamo un sentiero sulla dx che sale in località Kekec per poi scendere fino Nova Gorica su un sentiero nel bosco con diff. S1/S2. Attraversiamo la cittadina su piste ciclabili per riconquistare il punto di partenza.

The route starts from the square of the Red House in Gorizia and after a few hundred meters reaches the crossing pedestrian Rafut. From here takes place entirely in the territory of Slovenia.
So the station will reach the Transalpine and then the country Salcan.
Passed the town, at the traffic lights continue straight uphill to Lokvarsko. From the traffic light, after 2.5 km climb, at a bend, we leave the paved road on the left to take a nice singletrack, sometimes technical, and after 2.5 km sbucherà on an easy track that goes from plave. We turn right uphill and after a few hundred meters at a crossroads continue left towards Vodice, that we will reach after a couple of km (about 12 from the start). From the war memorial descend along a single trail (with strokes of diff.S2 S3) which reports to the crossroads, continue straight uphill to Montesanto (Sveta Gora).
From the shrine we go down the road where we celebrate the Stations of the Cross by cutting a few hairpin bends in a path in the woods of diff. S1 / S2.
Ricongiuntosi the state for Lokvarsko turn left, and after a few hundred meters we take a path on the right that goes up and then down to the resort Kekec Nova Gorica on a forest path with diff. S1 / S2. We cross the town on bike paths to regain the starting point.
