Verso antiorario – km 42 – dislivello 1250 m.
Il giro prende il via da Gorizia presso il Piazzale di Casarossa, si sviluppa quasi interamente in territorio sloveno e, nonostante si sviluppi solo a pochi km da Gorizia, si ha l'impressione di trovarsi in un contesto alpino. L'itinerario passa in vari luoghi che riportano la memoria alla prima guerra mondiale: i monumenti sul monte Vodice e le trincee del monte Sabotino.
L'itinerario si svolge per i primi 7 km su strade asfaltate, per poi proseguire lungo comode mulattiere e divertenti sentieri per circa il 70% di tutto il percorso. Per chi non amasse in particolar modo l'asfalto, potrà parcheggiare l'auto dopo il paese di Salcano (in Slovenia) in un comodo parcheggio posto poco prima del ponte sull'Isonzo, ed eviterà così un altro 15% di asfalto, effettuando un anello.

The tour kicks off at the Piazzale di Gorizia Casarossa is developed almost entirely in the territory of Slovenia, and despite develops only a few km from Gorizia, we have the impression of being in an alpine environment. The route passes in various places that carry the memory to the First World War: the monuments on Mount Vodice and trenches of Mount Sabotino.
The itinerary is for the first 7 km of paved roads, and then continue along comfortable bridleways and footpaths fun for about 70% of the entire route. For those who did not love especially the asphalt, you can park the car after the village of Salcano (in Slovenia) in a convenient parking place just before the bridge on the Isonzo, and thus avoid another 15% of asphalt, making a ring.
