Ausgangspunkt dieser Tour ist wieder der Sportpark an der Rennbahn. Hinter dem Sportpark geht es gleich nach links auf den Lindenbruchweg, dann durch den Ortsteil Bündheim um bei Westerode auf den R 1 zu treffen. Dem folge ich bis nach Ilsenburg. Durch Ilsenburg geht es in Richtung Veckenstedt. Hinter dem Ortsausgang, nachdem die Ilse überquert ist, beginnt der Ilseradweg. Ein wunderschöner Weg der direkt an der Ilse gelegen ist. In Veckenstedt führt der Weg hinter den Gärten durch nach Wasserleben. diesen Abschnitt säumen auf beiden Seiten Schattenspendende Bäume. Kurz vor Wasserleben liegt das Ilsestrandbad und im Ort drehe ich noch eine Runde durch den kleinen Henneberg-Park, der wurde 1859 als englischer Park angelegt. Hinter Wasserleben sind jetzt auf der linken Seite des Weges Felder und es gibt schöne Blicke zurück auf den Harz. Der Ort Berßel wird umfahren und es geht über eine Landstrasse und einen Feldweg in Richtung Osterwieck. Die Stadt ist eine Runde wert um die alten Häuser zu betrachten. Weiter geht es in Richtung Waldhaus und dann zum Bismarckturm. Vom Mai bis September ist er an Wochenenden und Feiertagen geöffnet. Dann führt der Weg weiter am Feld entlang bis zum Punkt A, die ersten hundert Meter geht es noch, aber dann ist der Weg dermaßen zugewachsen, dass ich schiebe und mir dabei auch einige Schrammen an den Dornen hole. Die Alternative ist am Punkt A rechts hoch und auf den Kammweg auszuweichen, auf den man nach überqueren der Strasse sowieso erreicht. Am Rand von Hornburg vorbei geht es durch die Felder nach Isingerode und dann auf dem Grenzweg nach Wülperode. Hier soll sich das Grab des Wilden Jägers Hackelberg befinden. Vor einigen Jahren stand der Grabstein noch in der Ortsmitte. Durch Wiedelah führt der Weg nach Vienenburg zur Eis-Ecke wo immer ein Stop eingelegt wird. Durch das Radautal geht es in Richtung Bad Harzburg in den Ortsteil Schlewecke wo der R1 wieder erreicht wird und zum Ausgangspunkt zurück führt.
