Vom Parkplatz in Windshausen direkt in die Steigung durch den Wald auf guter Forststraße ca 5 km in anfangs steiler dann moderater Steigung. Nach der Kuppe (530 Hm) geht es kurz bergab und dann rechts über ein Kuhgatter in das Trockenbachtal zuerst auf Weg dann auf kurzem Trail. An der Schwarzriesshütte vorbei und dann rechts das Trockenbachtal Richtung Ebbs. An der Kreuzung kurz nach dem Beginn der Teerstraße geht es rechts bergauf Richtung Kranzhornalm. Auf der Forststraße geht es mit mittlerer Steigung und vor den letzten beiden Kehren dann mit stärker Steigung weiter. Die Forststraße ist zwar gut ausgebaut aber auf den letzten 100 Hm ziemlich holprig. Dafür entlohnt die Kranzhornalm mit guten Essen und warmen Sonnenplätzen an der Hütte die keinen Ruhetag während der Öffnungszeiten (Mai bis Oktober) hat. Zurück geht es den gleichen Weg und an einer Rechtskurve nach links hoch in den Wald (Gatter). Nach einem kurzen Schnapper geht es stetig bergab bis zum Parkplatz.

From the car park in Windshausen directly in the slope through the forest on a good forest road about 5 km in initially steeper then moderate slope. After the summit (530 Hm) it briefly goes downhill and then right over a cross cow grids in the first Trockenbachtal on way then on a short trail. Past the Black Ries hut and then the right direction Trockenbachtal Ebbs. At the intersection shortly after the start of the paved road, turn right uphill direction Kranzhornalm. On the forest road it goes with medium gradient and before the last two turns then with more slope on. The forest road is well developed but quite bumpy on the last 100 Hm. For the Kranzhornalm rewarded with good food and warm sunny places at the cottage which has no rest day during opening times (May to October). Back it goes the same way and at a right turn to the left up in the forest (gate). After a short snapper it goes steadily downhill to the parking lot.
