Die Ruine Rosstein liegt auf dem Jakobsweg bei Spießhof im Taubenbacher Forst und ist nicht sehr bekannt, da sie mitten im Wald liegt. Sie ist aber wirklich sehenswert und wurde vor kurzem restauriert. Die 38 km lange Runde ist auf dem Höhenprofilreiter unter der Karte verkehrt herum dargestellt ( von rechts nach links ist die richtige Richtung! =>also für den Beginn der Route an die schriftliche Anweisung hier halten, damit ihr nicht verkehrt herum fahrt). Sie führt rund um Ensdorf mit einem Abstecher zur Ruine Rosstein, ist keine Familientour, sondern harte Arbeit für konditionell und technisch versierte Biker. Die Tour sollte nur bei trockenem Wetter gefahren werden, da drei relativ matschige Stellen, das Schotterwerk und eine üble Wurzelpassage dabei sind. Start ist am Sportheim in Ensdorf, wo man nach der Tour auch auf der kleinen, gemütlichen Terasse etwas für die Regeneration tun kann. Die Tour beginnt auf der Teerstraße bergab und geht schon nach ca. 50 Metern nach links!!! auf einen Schotterweg. Am Fußballplatz, der links liegt, vorbei (rechts ist eine Pferdekoppel) und dann rechts in Richtung der Häuser. Nun folgt zunächst, nach der Durchquerung der Siedlung, ein schöner Trail durch den 'Schweinebergwald' bergab (kurz aber fein). Versierte Biker können auch die direkte Abfahrt über den 'Schweineberg' (der Track geht bis an die Kante) wählen...ist aber übel technisch, also lieber den gemütliche Abfahrts-Trial durch den Wald nehmen. Dann geht es auf Schotter und Wiese, durch Seulohe weiter bis nach Thannlohe. Hier die Teerstraße links bergab und dann rechts auf den Schotterweg zum Kalksteinwerk, wo ein kurzer aber knackiger Uphill wartet. Dann über Wolfsbach durch den Hirschwald über den Weiherschacht zur Eiger (ist ein extrem steiler aber fester Schotterweg) über die Eggenberkirche nach Palkering und bei der Schranke (abkürzen möglich =>hier kommen wir von oben am Ende der Tour auch wieder an) bei Kreuth nach rechts Richtung ’Drei Linden’. Dann kommt man von ’DreiLinden’ zum Jakobsweg (blaue Muschel), dem wir nach rechts ins Tal folgen und dann links hoch zur Ruine Rosstein fahren (Trail). Eine kurze Trial-Runde bei der Ruine bringt uns bergauf über Galching wieder zum Jakobsweg, wo wir jetzt rechts durch den Wald (üble, ebene Wurzelpassage) wieder zur Schranke bei Kreuth fahren und hier rechts nach Kreuth abbiegen. Es folgt ein Schotteranstieg und dann durch Rieden die Auffahrt zum Schloßberg und über Schön wieder nach Ensdorf zum Sportheim. Wo man jetzt gemütlich bei Currywurst, Pommes und Weizen über den Sinn und Unsinn der vollbrachten Bike-Arbeit sinieren kann. Dies ist eine Trainingsrunde, die oft in den anaeroben Bereich geht, da sehr viele kurze, aber bissige Steigungen eingebaut sind. Wer sie noch verschärfen will kann sie auch komplett in der Übersetzung vone 48 Zähne und hinten das dritte Ritzel fahren, dann aber lieber den Herzfrequenzmesser vorher verschrotten! Also viel Spaß Jungs und nicht weinen, wenns wehtut :-)

The ruins Rosstein is on the Camino de Santiago in Spiesshof in pigeons Bacher forest and is not well known, because it is in the middle of a forest. But it is really worth seeing and was recently restored. The 38 km long round is wrong on the height profile tab of the map around shown (from right to left is the right direction! => Therefore hold for the beginning of the route to the written statement here, lest you upside down ride). Takes you around Ensdorf with a trip to the ruins Rosstein is no family tour, but hard work for technically and physically experienced bikers. The tour should be operated only in dry weather, as three relatively muddy places, the gravel pit and an evil root passage are. Start is at home in Ensdorf sport where you can do after the tour on the small, cozy terrace something for regeneration. The tour begins on the tar road downhill and goes after about 50 meters turn left !!! on a dirt road. On the football field, which is left over (to the right is a horse paddock) and then right towards the houses. Now comes first, after the crossing of the settlement, a beautiful trail through the 'swine mountain forest' downhill (short but fine). Experienced bikers can also direct descent on the 'pig hill' (the track goes up to the edge) choose ... but is technically bad, so better take advantage of the cozy downhill Trial through the forest. Then it goes on dirt and grass, carried Seulohe further to Thannlohe. Here the paved road downhill to the left and then right onto the dirt road to the limestone quarry, where a short but crisp Uphill waiting. Then, on Wolf creek through the deer woods across the pond bay of the Eiger (is an extremely steep but solid gravel) over the Eggenberkirche after Palkering and at the barrier (abbreviate possible => here we come from above at the end of the tour and back on again) at Kreuth to right direction 'Three Linden'. Then you come from 'Three Linden' the Way of St. James (blue mussel), which we follow to the right into the valley and then left up to the ruins Rosstein drive (Trail). A short trial round at the ruins takes us uphill on Galching back to St. James, where we now right through the forest (bad, flat root Passage) again go to the barrier at Kreuth and turn right here to Kreuth. It follows a gravel rise and then through vineyards the driveway to the Schlossberg and over again Nice to Ensdorf to sports home. Where to now comfortably sinieren at currywurst, fries and wheat over the sense and nonsense of the accomplished bike work. This is a training round that often goes into the anaerobic zone, as many short but snappy gradients are built. Who will they get worse, it can also completely vone 48 teeth and behind the third pinion drive in the translation, but rather then scrap the heart rate monitor before! So have fun guys and do not cry, wenns hurts:-)
