Roland Stauder, Ex-Mountainbikeprofi hat in seiner Heimatregion eine tolle Runde für uns Biker ausgearbeitet und bestens markiert. Wir sind den "Stoneman Trail" auf zwei Tage verteilt gefahren und waren sehr begeistert. In der traumhaften Umgebung der Karnischen- und Sextner Dolomiten bietet die Runde alles was uns Mountainbiker jubeln lässt! Kernige Auffahrten, perfekte Singletrails, rauschende Downhills und beschauliche Rollfahrten im Tal. Das alles bei super Ausblicken auf die imposante umliegende Bergwelt. Fahrtechnisch gesehen sind mit einem guten All-Mountainbike(Federweg>100mm) alle Trails nahezu 100% fahrbar. Die Tour startete für uns in Sillian am Beginn der Forststraße zur Leckfeldalm und ging rauf zur Sillianer Hütte auf 2447 m. Weiter den Single auf dem Karnischen Höhenweg und runter nach Casamassagno. Auf der Kreuzbergpassstraße nach Padola und über das Val Grande zum Kreuzbergpass. Nach einem sehr schön zu fahrenden Karrenweg, kamen wir zu den Rotwandwiesen, dort machten wir auf der Rotwandwiesenhütte unsere Übernachtung Den zweiteTag mit der Schlussetappe findet Ihr unter der Tour: "Stoneman-Trail rund um Sexten Tag 2"
