Landschaftlich sehr schöne Abendrunde mit Ausblicken auf Jenzig und Fuchsturm durch ein Seitental der Saale mit unmittelbarem Anschluss an die Stadt Jena. Stadtauswärts fährt man den zur B7 parallelen Radweg in Richtung Bürgel, auf dem man die Zielhöhe in wohldosierten Abschnitten erradeln kann, bis Großlöbichau. Dort wird die B7 überquert und nach einem kurzen Anstieg auf einer wenig befahrenen Landstraße nach links auf einen Feldweg eingebogen, der am Südhang des Jenzigs nach Jena zurückführt. Bald darauf kann man die erklommenen Höhenmeter zur genüsslichen Rückfahrt bergab ins Saaletal nutzen. Am Ortseingang fährt man für ein kurzes Stück auf der B7, die man zu ungünstigen Zeiten mit vielen Autos teilen muss, kann aber nach ca. 200m bereits wieder auf Anliegerstraßen bzw. Radwege ausweichen. Die Tour kann natürlich auch in Gegenrichtung abgefahren werden, hat dann aber stärkere Steigungen im ersten Teil.

Very scenic evening round with views of Jenzig and Fuchsturm & nbsp; through a side valley of the Saale, with direct connection to the city of Jena. Out of town you drive parallel to B7 bike path Biirgel, on the one target height in well-measured & nbsp; may cycle along sections until Großlöbichau. There, the B7 is crossed and bent after a short climb on a quiet country road to the left onto a dirt road that leads back to Jena on the southern slope of the Jenzigs. Soon after, you can see the crested altimeter for pleasurable trip downhill use the Saale Valley. At the entrance you drive for a short distance on the B7, you have to share at inconvenient times with many cars, but, after about 200m already again resort to residential streets or bike paths. The tour can of course be traversed in the opposite direction, but then stronger gradients in the first part.
