Diese Tour war als Saisoneröffnung gedacht und sollten den "jungen und dynamischen" Neu-MTBlern mal zeigen, dass die Eifel nicht flach und eben ist. Gestartet wird dier Tour in Euskirchen, z.B. am Bahnhof. Anfangs geht es recht flach an der Erft entlang bis zum Hardtwald bei Stotzheim, weiter an der Steinbachtalsperre vorbei und anschließend zum ersten "echten" Berg. Die Umrundung des Hochthürmer Bergs hat aufgrund eines kleinen Teilstücks mit ~28° Steigung seinen besonderen Reiz. Nach einer Bananenpause am Fuße dieses ehemaligen Vulkans führt die Runde flowig und schnell an Krälingen vorbei ins Sahrbachtal und weiter zum "Sockel" des Radioteleskops in Effelsberg. Der Rückweg über das Forsthaus Hülloch führt am Hardtberg wieder auf den ursprünglichen Hinweg, kann aber vielfältig modifiziert werden. Die Strecke führt Großenteils über Waldautobahnen und Trails - es sind nur minimale Landstraßenpassagen zu bewältigen.
