Die Tour beginnt in Euskirchen am Aldi- und Baumarktparkplatz. Von dort geht es meist entlang des Veybaches über Euenheim nach Wißkirchen auf zum Teil schmalen aber gut befahrbaren Pfaden und Wegen. In Wißkirchen Richtung Süden über die Bahnlinie Gerolstein-Köln in den Billiger Wald. Ab Beginn des Billiger Waldes beginnt eine Steigung auf nach Regenfällen zum Teil matschigen aber gut befahrbaren Wegen zum höchsten Punkt des Billiger Waldes. Von hier hat man eine sehr schöne Aussicht über das Euskirchener Umland. Es folgt eine Abfahrt auf feinem Kies an das südliche Ende des Billiger Waldes zu einem malerisch an der Burg Zievel gelegenen Golfplatz. Am Rande des Golfplatzes entlang wird die A1 unterquert und Satzvey erreicht. Hier ein kurzer Abstecher zum Nepomuk-Denkmal und der urigen Wasserburg Satzvey. Am Sportplatz Satvey vorbei in die Schavener Heide. Dort nicht die Wege verlassen. Am Hochwildschutzpark besteht die Möglichkeit zur Einkehr, oder zum Erwerb von Getränken (0,5 l Bier nur 1,5 €). Über die Ortschaft Katzvey quert man das idyllische Veybachtal und erreicht die Katzensteine, eine sehr eindrucksvolle Buntsandsteinformation, an der in der Frühzeit steinzeitliche Jäger siedelten. Hier für den Nichtprofi die einzige Schiebepassage über etwa 150 m). Wir befinden uns jetzt im Mechernicher Wald, queren ab und an die alte Römische Wasserleitung, deren Baumaterial hier überall abgetragen ist. Über meist gut befahrbare Wirtschaftswege (zum Teil geteert, häufig unbefestigt) weiter Richtung Iversheim. Am Haus Maria Rast vorbei wird schließlich wieder der Billiger Wald erreicht. Einmal oben angelangt führt eine lange Abfahrt an einer aufgegebenen belgischen Nike-Stellung (Flugabwehrraketen) vorbei meist vom Rückenwind getragen zurück nach Euskirchen zum Startpunkt. - Sehr abwechselungsreiche, meist einsame, geniale Strecke in toller Landschaft.
