Die Tour startet im Hotel San Carlo in der Loc. San Carlo in Malcesine. Ein Start in Torbole oder Riva ist ebenfalls möglich. Wir fahren mit der ersten Autofähre um 9:45 nach Limone (Fahrpreis 2009 mit Bike 6€). Hier beginnt die Auffahrt nach Vesio auf der Asphaltstraße. Diese ist sehr anstrengend da die Morgensonne gnadenlos brennt und kein Schatten vorhanden ist. Hinter Vesio bei der Molkerei biegen wir rechts auf einen Schotterweg ab nach ca. 500 m bei einer Infotafel geht es rechts den Berg hoch auf gut fahrbarem Schotterweg. Bei einer Höhe von ca. 960m (Cocca) links halten Richtung M. Zeone und den Weg weiter folgen dieser wird nach einigen Kehren zum Pfad. Dann ist Schwindelfreiheit gefragt. Der Pfad ein alter Militärweg führt atemberaubend den Berg entlang (siehe Fotos) immer an der linken westlichen Flanke. Der weg führt durch einige Tunnels einer ist eingestürzt so dass wir das Rad darüber tragen müssen. Ab der Bocca Fobia beginnt die Trailabfahrt mit einigen Spitzkehren hinunter zur Straße zum Passo Nota. Hier fahren wir links die Straße hoch zum Passo Nota (Einkehrmöglichkeit). Weiter geht es auf einem Schotterweg kurz steil Bergauf zur Bocca dei Fortini. Hier kann man links zum Lago di Ledro abfahren. Wir halten uns aber halb rechts Richtung Passo Guil. Am Biv. Baita B. Segala besteht nochmal die Möglichkeit die Wasservorräte aufzufrischen oder ein Bier zu Trinken. (Selbstversorger Hütte, die Hütte ist offen die Getränke sind im Inneren, gegen eine angemessene Spende kann man sich bedienen). Nach der Hütte wird der Weg zum gut fahrbaren Pfad den wir bis zum Passo Rocchetta folgen. Hier folgen wir den linken Weg Nr. 422 bis zur Forststraße wo wir rechts zur Malga Palaer abbiegen. Dieser ist mit einigen Stufen Wurzelpassagen und Spitzkehren geschmückt. Ansonsten aber gut fahrbar. Der rechte Weg Nr. 422b führt auch zur Malga Palaer, er ist sehr steil und teilweise mit lockeren Steinen übersäht, nur für Spezialisten. Wir folgen der Forststraße zur P.ta dei Larici hier kann ein Abstecher zum Aussichtsfelsen gemacht werden (Rad mitnehmen). Kurz nach der P.ta führt rechts neben der Forststraße ein alter Karrenweg durch den Wald (schneidet den neuen Weg mehrmals). Diesen folgen wir bis kurz vor Pregasina. Ab Pregasina folgen wir der Straße bis zum neuen Straßentunnel, vor diesen biegen wir rechts auf die alte Straße ein und folgen dieser und der alten Ponale Straße bis Riva. Weiter geht es auf Radwegen nach Torbole und von hier auf der Straße zurück nach Malcesine (Rücklicht mitnehmen wegen der Tunnels).

Here the driveway begins after Vesio on the asphalt road. This is very stressful since the morning sun burns mercilessly and no shade is available. Behind Vesio at the dairy we turn right onto a dirt road after about 500 meters, with an information board it goes right up the hill on good wheeled gravel. At an altitude of about 960m (Cocca) & nbsp; left towards M. Zeone and the way it will continue to follow after a few bends to the path. Then head for heights is required. Beyond the hut the path to good mobile is the path we follow up to the Passo Rocchetta. Here we follow the left path no. Until the forest road where we turn to Malga Palaer 422 right. This is decorated with a few steps root sections and switchbacks. But otherwise good to ride. . The Right Way No 422b also leads to Malga Palaer, he & nbsp; is very steep and partially covered with loose stones, only for specialists. We follow the forest road to P.ta dei Larici here, a detour can be made to the lookout rock (wheel along). Shortly after the P.ta leads right next to the forest road, an old cart track through the forest (cut a new path several times). This we followed up shortly before Pregasina. From Pregasina we follow the road to the new road tunnel, before this we turn right onto the old road and follow this and the old Ponale road to Riva. Continue on bike paths to Torbole and from here on the road back to Malcesine (taillight take account of the tunnel).
