Die Tour ist eine schöne Mischung aus Wald und offener Heidelandschaft. Der Ausgangspunkt der Tour ist der Wanderparkplatz an der B258 - Blumenrather Heide (aufgelockerte Heidelandschaft mit großartigem Ausblick bis zur Nürburg). Von hier geht es nach einem kurzen Anstieg in nördlicher Richtung in steiler Abfahrt zur Sankt-Johst-Mühle. Ein Stück weit folgt der Weg dem Jodokuspilgerweg, kombiniert mit einem Abstecher zur kunstvoll geschmückten Wallfahrtskapelle St. Jost. Entlang des Nitzbachs geht es nach Virneburg (Burgruine Virneburg - Mitte des 13. Jahrhunderts); oberhalb des Nitzbaches geht es weiter durch den Wald. Stetig bergan führt der Weg durch ein Seitental in den Hochwald. Auf Höhe Hälgertberg (551 m) geht es in Richtung Nitz und weiter, oberhalb des Nitzbachs, nach Südwesten. Am Zusammenfluss Nitzbach – Kirsbach biegt der Weg nach Süden ab und führt um die Booser Doppelmaare. Die Rücktour führt ein paar Meter entlang der L 92 bis auf Höhe Wanderparkplatz Booser Maare und geht weiter über den Schneeberg (557 m). Ein Abstecher führt zu einem weiteren Highlight: dem Booser Eifelturm (phantastischer Panorama-Blick über die reizvolle Eifellandschaft). Im weiteren Verlauf taucht der Weg in den Wald ein. Hinter dem Hälgertberg (551 m) quert der Weg die B 410 und nach kurzer Fahrt durch den Wald bekommt man einen wunderbaren Panoramablick nach Süden – Richtung Ditscheid/Anschau. Den Abschluss der Tour bildet die Wacholderheide am Schafberg mit phänomenalem Eifelpanorama. An Höhepunkten hat diese Tour damit Einiges zu bieten: Blumenrather Heide, Wallfahrtskapelle St. Jost, Ruine Virneburg, "Booser Eifelturm" mit Panoramablick über die Eifel bis zum Westerwald und Hunsrück, zwei Trockenmaare, Eifelpanorama vom Schafberg.

The tour is a nice mix of forest and open heathland. The starting point of the tour is the trail parking lot on the B258 - Flowers Rather Heide (loosened moorland with magnificent views to the Nürburg). & Nbsp; From here it is a short increase in a northerly direction in a steep descent to Santa Johst mill. To a certain extent, the route follows the Jodokuspilgerweg, combined with a trip to the ornately decorated chapel of St. Jost. Along the Nitzbachs it goes Virneburg (ruins Virneburg - mid 13th century); above the Nitzbaches it goes through the forest. Steadily uphill, the path leads through a valley in the high forest. On Hälgertberg height (551 m), it goes in the direction Nitz and further, above the Nitzbachs, to the southwest. At the confluence Nitzbach & ndash; Kirsbach the path turns to the south and leads to the Booser Doppelmaare. The tour takes you back a few yards along & nbsp; L 92 Booser to the level trail parking lot maars and continues over the snow mountain (557 m). A detour leads to a further highlight: the Booser Eiffel Tower (fantastic panoramic views over the beautiful Eifel landscape). Continuing the path plunges into the forest. Behind the Hälgertberg (551 m) crosses the road, the B 410 and a short drive through the forest to get a wonderful panoramic view to the south & ndash; Direction Ditscheid / Anschau. & Nbsp; The end of the tour & nbsp; forms the Wacholderheide on sheep mountain with phenomenal panoramic Eifel. At highlights this tour has so a lot to offer: Flower Rather Heath, pilgrimage chapel of St. Jost, ruin Virneburg, & quot; Booser Eifel Tower & quot; with panoramic view over the Eifel and Hunsrück to the Westerwald, two Trockenmaare, Eifel panorama from the mountain sheep.
