Die Tour beginnt und endet im kleinen Ort Nerezine. Zuerst gehts auf Asphalt bergwärts Richtung Sveti Mikul. Der Sveti Mikul ist die höchste Erhebung der Insel und auf mehreren Aufstiegspfaden zu besteigen. Am Gipfel steht eine kleine Kapelle und von dort gibt es herrliche Ausblicke in alle Himmelsrichtungen. Im Osten sieht man die Insel Krk und dahinter das Velebit-Gebirge, im Süden den Rest der Insel Losinj (=südlicher Teil der Insel Cres) mit Mali- und Veli Losinj und im Westen kleine, vorgelagerte Inseln und bei ausgezeichneter Fernsicht sogar Italien. (dies nur als kleiner Exkurs zum "Hausberg" von Nerezine, den man unbedingt ersteigen soll!). Doch zurück zu unserer Tour: Wir fahren also bergwärts, passieren die Abzweigung zum Sv. Mikul und dann nach einigen Hundert Metern wechselt der Schotter in ein kleines Weglein, welches dann endgültig in einen Super-Trail mündet. Nun ist Geschicklichkeit und 100%-ige Balance angesagt, sonst gibts Schürfwunden und Kratzer an Bike und Körper. Bis auf wenige, sehr kurze Schiebe- oder Tragepassagen ist der Trail voll fahrbar. Eigentlich wäre allein wegen diesem Abschnitt eine Technikwertung von 4 notwendig! Der Trail mündet schließlich wieder in einen PKW-tauglichen Schotter- und Wiesenweg der selbst kurz danach auf der Strasse Nerezine - Osor endet. Nun gehts ca. 3 km bis Osor. Vor der Brücke links gäbe es eine weitere, schöne Biketour auf den Nachbargipfel des Sveti Mikul. Dank des neuen Mobilmastes wurde zu diesem eine befahrbare, grobe und teilweise sehr steile Schotterpiste in den Berg geschlagen. (diese Tour wird extra beschrieben werden). Von Osor gehts an der Küste entlang Richtung Camp und dann wieder für ca. 5km auf die Asphaltstrasse. Wir biegen nun links Richtung Ustrinje ab und folgen der Schotter- / Asphaltstrasse zum kleinen Ort. Von hier gibt es herrliche Ausblicke gegen Westen und in die darunter liegenden Buchten. Während der Saison sollte man in dem einzigen Grillrestaurant unbedingt von der Terasse den Sonnenuntergang genießen! Die Abfahrt runter in die Bucht ist normalerweise für Touristen-PKW gesperrt. Der Grund liegt in den sehr wenigen Parkmöglichkeiten und der extrem steilen Strasse! Für unsere Bikes gibts keinen Schranken und wir düsen abwärts. Vorerst aber unbedingt die Bremsen kontrollieren, denn die Strassenneigung ist brutal! Ich habe es bis dato noch nie geschafft, die Strasse retour aufwärts zurück zu fahren. Unten kann man sich in den herrlichen Fluten kühlen bevor es wieder zurück nach Nerezine geht.

The tour begins and ends in the small town Nerezine. First go on asphalt uphill direction Sveti Mikul. The Sveti Mikul is the highest point on the island and climb on multiple ascent paths. At the top there is a small chapel, and from there there are wonderful views in all directions. In the east, the island of Krk and behind the Velebit Mountains, in the south parts of the island Losinj (= southern part of the island of Cres) with Mali and Veli Losinj and west small, offshore islands and excellent distance vision even Italy. (This only & nbsp; quot Mountain &;, as a small digression on the & quot of Nerezine that one should necessarily climb). But back to our tour: So we go uphill, passing the junction to Sv. Mikul and then after a few hundred meters of gravel goes into a small little path, which then finally leads into a super-Trail. Well skill and 100% balance is called for, otherwise there abrasions and scratches on bike and body. Except for a few very short sliding or carrying sections of the trail is fully mobile. Actually would be alone for this section, a technique score of 4 is required! The trail eventually leads back into a car-grade gravel and the meadow itself shortly afterwards on the road Nerezine - ends Cres. Now go about 3 km until Cres. Left before the bridge there is a more beautiful bike tour to the neighboring peak of Sveti Mikul. Thanks to the new mobile mast a passable, rough and sometimes very steep gravel road was beaten in the mountain on this. (This tour will be described separately). From Cres go along the coast to camp and then again for about 5km on the asphalt road. We now turn left and follow the direction Ustrinje gravel / asphalt road to the small town. From here there are wonderful views to the west and into the underlying bays. During the season, you should definitely enjoy the sunset in the only BBQ restaurant from the terrace! The descent down into the bay is normally closed to tourists cars. The reason lies in the very few parking and the extremely steep road! For our bikes there no barriers and we head down. First, however, very important to check the brakes, because the road inclination is brutal! I have so far never managed to back up the road to go back. Below them you can be in the beautiful cool waters before heading back to Nerezine.
