Die Zweiburgentour lädt ein, die besondere Schönheit der Landschaft zwischen Hohensolms und Großaltenstädten zu entdecken. Es handelt sich hier um einen ganz neu ausgezeichneten Wanderweg im Rahmen der Extratouren zum Lahn-Dill-Bergland-Pfad, also eigentlich ein Wanderweg aber auch schön zum biken. Der Weg beginnt an der Jugendburg in Hohensolms. Ich bin den Weg in Richtung Großaltenstäten gefahren, vorbei am Waldschwimmbad ( Kiosk im Sommer geöffnet) und dann vorbei an zwei Mühlen über die Großaltenstädter Heide zum Aussichtsturm Altenberg mit grandiosem Rundblick. Nun führt der Weg über einige Stufen über einen schmalen Trail und dann wieder über Wald- und Forstwege zurück zur Jugendburg in Hohensolms.

The Two Castle Tour invites you to discover the special beauty of the landscape between Hohensolms and large old cities. This is a brand new excellent hiking trail as part of the extra trips to the Lahn-Dill-Bergland path, but also so nice for biking actually a trail. The trail starts at the youth castle in Hohensolms. I drove the way towards large old ties, past the forest pool (kiosk open in summer) and then. Past two mills on the Great Altenstädter heath to the lookout tower with spectacular panoramic view Altenberg Now the trail leads through some steps on a narrow trail and then again on forest and forest roads back to Jugendburg Hohensolms.
