Charakter: viele super Trails Trails sind größtenteils schön flowig jedoch auch einige technische Passagen Naturdenkmal Buchstein (Felsformationen) Wald- und Schotterwege, wenig Teeranteil Beschreibung: Start und Ziel ist der Parkplatz am Studentenwald. Von dort erst mal über Radwege einrollen in Richtung des Buchsteins. Bevor man die Felsen des Buchsteins erreicht, geht's erst mal über ein paar Trails runter, außen vorbei und bei der Einfahrt zur Kompostieranlage links den Trail bergauf zum Buchstein. Diese Auffahrt könnt ihr euch merken. Hier fahren wir öfter hoch. Oben angekommen erst mal Fotopause einlegen und die Felsformationen bewundern. Vom Buchstein runter gibt es viele verschiedene Trails. Wenn man die Augen offen hält findet ihr viele der Abfahrten. Ich bin zum Aufzeichnen nur 2 mal runter. Es ist eigentlich egal wo ihr runter fahrt. Jede Abfahrt hat ihren eigenen Reiz. Hier bracht ihr auch kein GPS. Ist der Trail vorbei immer links halten am Berg entlang und man kommt wieder zu der o.g. Trailauffahrt zum Buchsteingipfel. Wenn man sich am Buchstein ausgetobt hat, dann nach der letzten Abfahrt dem Track weiter folgen. Dazu nicht die Trailauffahrt nehmen, sondern dem Weg rechts der Einfahrt zur Kompostieranlage folgen. Jetzt fahren wir auf den Sophienberg (mit knapp 600 Meter der höchste Berg Bayreuths). Der Anstieg ist mal moderat, mal etwas steiler auf unterschiedlichem Untergrund. Vom Berg hinab führt wieder ein Trail. Der erste Teil ist etwas steiler, der zweite eher flowig. Weiter runter geht's rasant über Teerstraße. Es gibt leider keine andere Möglichkeit um zum letzten super Trail zu gelangen. Die Abfahrt macht aber trotzdem Spaß. Nach der Ortschaft Rödensdorf bei einer Sandgrube startet der letzte Trail: Dieser Trail hat eine Länge von ca. 2 km und ist ein super flowiger Singletrail. Am Schluss der Tour fährt man noch durch den Studentenwald zurück zum Parkplatz. Direkt neben dem Parkplatz ist die "Trattoria am Studentenwald" mit Biergarten. Hier kann man echt gut italienisch Essen und sein verdientes Weizen trinken! Viel Spaß beim Nachfahren PS: Über ein kurzes Feedback würde ich mich freuen!
