Start und Ziel: Hauptbahnhof Lienz Klassiker in den Lienzer Dolomiten. Sehr viele Mountainbiker nutzen den Weg zur Dolomitenhütte als Trainingsstrecke. Ich fahre allerdings als "Variante" über einen Forstweg: Tristacherseestraße. Vorbei am schönen, exklusiven Hotel Kreuzer, der Badeanlage und dem Campingplatz bis zum Parkplatz. Dort ein Abstecher (100m) bis zum Camping Restaurant - Foto. Beim Parkplatz rechts in den Waldweg abbiegen. Kurz bevor man die Asphaltstraße Richtung Kreithof / Dolomitenhütte erreicht rechts auf Forstweg abbiegen. Ich fahre die sogenannte "Schneisse" . . . Der Forstweg wendet sich immer unter der Strom / Telefonleitung. Teils steiler Weg, stellenweise grobschottrig, aber dafür immer wunderschön Schattig und keine Autos! ca. 400 HM unter der Dolomitenhütte erreiche ich die Asphaltstraße, auf welcher ich bis zur Dolomitenhütte fahre. Einkehr in der schön ausgebauten Dolomitenhütte, mit einer tollen Terrasse samt super Ausblick und sehr gutem Essen! Abfahrt über die Asphaltstraße und als Variante fahre ich unten im Tal auf dem Damm entlang der Drau wieder bis zum Bahnhof Lienz.

I ride but as & quot; variant & quot; along a forest: Tristacher lake road. Passing the beautiful, exclusive Hotel Kreuzer, the baths and the campground to the parking lot. There is a detour (100m) to the camping restaurant - photo. From the parking lot, turn right into the forest path. Just before the asphalt road towards Kreithof / Dolomitenhütte reached turn right onto forest road. I drive the so-called & quot; Schneisse & quot; . . . The forest always turns under the power / telephone line. Part steep path, partly grobschottrig, but always beautiful shade and no cars! 400 HM under the Dolomitenhütte I reach the asphalt road on which I am going to Dolomitenhütte. Stop at the well constructed Dolomitenhütte, with a great terrace together with great view and very good food! Descent over the asphalt road and as a variant I drive down the valley at the dam along the Drava back to Lienz train station.
