Il giro copre quasi tutte le tracce FR del versante di Brunate, alcune di esse costruite o manutenute dai volontari di Bikers Como (kudos a loro). La traccia parte e termina dalla partenza della funivia di Brunate e si svolge su 3 anelli. Un primo anello consiste nella salita da Brunate fino alla capanna Carla, da dove parte la PS1 o discesa Carla. Una mulattiera inizialmente parecchio scassata, ma sostanzialmente scorrevole e dritta. La PS1 termina su stada dalle parti di Civiglio. Da qui si risale su strada fino a Brunate per riprendere la salita già fatta. Il secondo anello da Brunate risale in parte lungo la stessa strada fino al Boletto in corrispondenza del quale parte la PS2 (sottostrada).La traccia non segue tutta la PS2, ma ad un certo punto la abbandona per seguire la PS4, fino nuovamente alla partenza della funicolare. Il terzo anello parte nuovamente da Brunate (occorre risalire con la funicolare) e prende la Strada Regia fino a Blevio. Inizialmente esposta, diventa poi un sentiero molto scorrevole (a parte qualche frana che obbliga a scendere dalla bici), fino praticamente sopra a Blevio in corrispondenza del quale inizia una discesa netta. Il rientro avviene inizialmente lungo la statale e poi sul lungo lago.In sostanza un giro con tante discese su terreni misti: mulattiera scassata, ripidoni in terra, canaloni, e single track esposti.
La funivia di Brunate non ha biglietti giornalieri ne per il trasporto bici. Occorre comprare in sostanza due biglietti, oppure "far finta di niente" ;-)La strada Regia va fatta solo se il terreno è asciutto (per essere sicuri della presa delle gomme) e per l'esposizione di parte della traccia è bene non soffrire di vertigini.Sorry, ben poche foto, il tracciato è divertente e le foto ci si dimentica presto di farle :-)
The tour covers almost all traces of the FR side of Brunate, some of them built or manutenute by Bikers Como volunteers (kudos to them). The track of the start and end of the Brunate cable car and takes place on 3 rings. A first link is to climb from Brunate down to Carla hut, from where the PS1 or Carla descent. A mule track initially quite battered, but substantially smooth and straight. The PS1 ends INFORMATION Dir from parts of Civiglio. From here it climbs on the road up to Brunate to resume the climb already made. The second ring from Brunate dates in part along the same route to the Boletto at which part of the PS2 (below street) .The track does not follow all the PS2, but at some point the leaves to follow the PS4, up again at the start the funicular. The third ring part again from Brunate (one must go back by cable car) and takes the Royal Road up to Blevio. Initially exposed, then it becomes a very smooth path (except for some landslide that forces you to get off the bike), until practically on top in Blevio at which begins a sharp descent. The return journey is along the state initially and then the long lago.In essentially a ride with many descents on mixed terrain: broken-down mule, ripidoni the ground, gullies, and exposed single track.
The Brunate cable car has no day passes it for transporting bikes. It must buy two tickets in essence, or "chicken out" ;-) The road Regia should be done only when the soil is dry (to be sure the grip of tires) and from part of the track display you should not suffer of vertigini.Sorry, very few photos, the track is fun and the photos we soon forget of them :-)
