Wir parken in Füssen unterhalb des Forggensees an einer ausgesuchten Stelle in einem schönen Wohngebiet, ungefähr dort wo kurz zuvor der Lech in den Forggensee fließt... Von hier startet dann auch die Tour hinauf zur Füssener Hütte (1520m) durch das schöne Reintal. Es geht zu Beginn noch ein Stück flussaufwärts am Lech entlang, dann durch Faulenbach hindurch und weiter auf dem Radweg in Richtung Alatsee. Diesen umrunden wir und durchqueren die Ortschaft Vils und weiter immer dem Radweg folgend... Die Umgebung hier ist wunderschön, links und rechts von uns saftige Wiesen mit vielen Blumen und das ganze schön eingesäumt von grünen Hügeln und hohen Bergen... Wir überqueren die L69 und durchfahren die Ortschaft Musau. Danach queren wir nochmals die L69 und biegen dann an einem Wirtshaus rechts ab. Nun ist es nur noch ein Stück bis zur Schranke an der dann die eigentliche Auffahrt beginnt. Wer möchte kann natürlich auch hier parken und seine Tour dann von hier starten und spart sich somit ca. 2/3 des Fahrweges. Die Auffahrt geht mit 13% kontinuierlicher Steigung auf einem gut zu befahrenden Forstweg knackig nach oben. Da es hier so gut wie keinen losen Schotter gibt, kommt man ganz gut voran... Sind die ersten 600hm geschafft geht es etwas flacher weiter ... Die Auffahrt lohnt sich aber bestimmt, die Umgebung ist herrlich und der weißblaue Himmel macht es gleich nochmal so schön... :) Vor der Füssener Hütte passieren wir noch die Musauer Alm, wer glaubt er schafft es nicht weiter ohne vorher ein Weißbier zu genießen, der kann sich gerne hier schon versorgen oder er fährt noch ein Stück weiter hinauf bis man dann endlich auf die Otto-Mayr-Hütte (1528m) und in Sichtweite nur ein kurzes Stück weiter auf die Füssener Hütte trifft. Essen und Trinken gibt’s hier genug und auch noch sehr schmackhaft. Wer möchte kann auf der Füssener Hütte übernachten. Der Ausblick entschädigt vollends für die anstrengende Auffahrt. Die sehr mächtigen Nordwände der Tannheimer Berge sowie z.B. auch der Gimpel, die Kellerspitze oder den Schartschrofen kann man hier bewundern. Der Weg zurück ist identisch mit der bereits gefahrenen Route. Während der Abfahrt kann man noch einige kurze aber knackige Wurzeltrails befahren die direkt von der Forststrasse aus abgehen und auch wieder auf dieser enden. Die beiden Trails sind im Track enthalten... Wir wünschen viel Spaß dabei und bei der gesamten Tour.

We park in feet below the Forggensee at a selected location in a beautiful residential area, about where shortly before the Lech flows into the Forggensee ... From here starts the tour up to Füssen hut (1520m) through the beautiful Reintal. It's beginning another piece upstream on the Lech along, then by Faulenbach through and continue on the bike path towards Alatsee. This & nbsp; we go around and cross the village and further Vils always following the bike path ... The environment here is beautiful, the left and right of us lush meadows with lots of flowers and all the beautiful fringed by green hills and high mountains ... We cross the L69 and drive through the village of Musau. Then we cross again the L69 and then turn left at an inn on the right. Now it is just another piece to the barrier at the start then the actual driveway. Who wants can of course also park here and then start his tour from here and thus saving about 3.2 of the route. The driveway goes with 13% continuous gradient on a good forest road to be traveled crisp up. Since it is so good as no loose gravel here, we proceed quite well ... Are the first 600hm managed continues slightly flatter ... The driveway is worthwhile but determined, the area is gorgeous and the white-blue sky makes it equal again so beautiful ... :) Before Füssen hut we pass even the Musauer Alm, who he believes does not make it further without enjoying previously a wheat beer, which can be happy here already provide or he goes a little further up to you finally only a short distance further strikes Füssen's hut on the Otto-Mayr-Hütte (1528m) and in sight. Eating and drinking are & rsquo s here enough and also very tasty. Who wants to sleep in the hut Füssen. The view compensates fully for the strenuous ascent. The very walls of the mighty North Tannheimer mountains, eg also the bullfinch, the cellar or the tip Schartschrofen can be admired here. The walk back is identical to the already traveled route. During the race you can still drive on some short but crisp root trails which depart directly from the forest road and also back end on this. The two trails are included in the track ...
