Wunderschöne kleine Runde zur Rohrkopfhütte. Start der Tour ist Füssen (nähe Bootshafen). Von dort gehts nach Schwangau und weiter an Mühlberg vorbei bis zum Parkplatz Drehhütte/Rohrkopfhütte. Ab hier beginnt der Aufstieg, zunächst auf Asphalt, später dann Schotter bis zur Rohrkopfhütte. Nach gemütlicher Einkehr und Prachtblicken auf Schloss Neuschwanstein und Alpsee, sowie auf die umliegenden Gipfel, beginnt der wunderschöne Trail über den Schutzengelweg zurück nach Schwangau. Diesen sollte man allerdings nur fahren, wenn (am besten keine) oder nur wenige Wanderer unterwegs sind. Ansonsten gleiche Route wieder zurück. Nach dem Schutzengelweg kommt man an der Talstation der Tegelbergbahn vorbei und beginnt die Heimfahrt über Schwangau zurück nach Füssen.

Beautiful small round head for pipe hut. The tour starts feet (near the harbor). From there we go to Schwangau and continue to Miihlberg over to the parking lot Drehhütte / head tube hut. From here the ascent later gravel up to tube head hut begins, first on asphalt. After a cozy retreat and superb views of Neuschwanstein Castle and Alpsee, as well as the surrounding peaks, the beautiful trail over the Schutzengelweg back to Schwangau begins. This however, you should only go if are (best not) or just a few hikers on the go. Otherwise same route back. After Schutzengelweg you pass the station of Tegelbergbahn and begins the journey home via Schwangau back to Füssen.
