Il giro scende dal paese di Pianavia tramite la discesa da Prelà Castello (la partenza può essere da Vasia o Pantasina in alternativa), tanto famosa fra i biker locali quanto bella ed impegnativa. Si tratta di una mulattiera tutta curve con pendenze a volte elevate. Giunti a Dolcedo si risale verso il Monte Faudo fino quasi al casone dei partigiani, per affrontare i pistini FreeRide costruiti dai biker locali, e che rapidamente riportano poco sopra a Dolcedo. Al termine della discesa dal Monte Faudo nei pressi di Ripalta si torna, tramite mulattiere e sentieri fino a Molini di Prelà. Da qui si risale su strada verso il luogo di partenza nella alta valle Prino. Le varianti "poco note" del titolo si riferiscono alla via di ritorno dal Faudo, che tramite una serie di mulattiere permette di evitarsi Dolcedo al rientro ed "atterrare" direttamente a Molini di Prelà.Arte: alcune chiese di paese abbandonate, il paese di Dolcedo e la frazione di Ripalta.Natura: la costa del Monte Faudo è tutta immersa in un tipico bosco di castagni, roverelle e quercie, davvero bello. Difficoltà: il giro richiede una buona dose di tecnica, per la difficoltà di alcune mulattiere e per il tipo di sentieri che scendono dal Monte Faudo (freeride).
The tour goes from the village of Pianavia through the descent from Prelà Castello (the start may be from Pantasina Vasia or alternatively), so famous among local bikers as it is beautiful and challenging. It is a mule all curves with slopes sometimes high. Once in Dolcedo it climbs to Mount Faudo almost to the mansions of the partisans, to address pistini FreeRide built by local bikers, and quickly bring just above Dolcedo. After the descent from Mount Faudo near Ripalta returns, via mule tracks and paths up to Molini di Prelà. From here it climbs on the way to the place of departure in the high Prino valley. Variants "little" notes of the title refers to the way back from Faudo, which through a series of bridleways allows avoided Dolcedo to return and "land" directly in Molini di Prelà.Arte: some village churches abandoned, the town of Dolcedo and the fraction of Ripalta.Natura: the coast of Mount Faudo is all immersed in a typical forest of chestnut trees, oaks and oaks, really nice. Difficulty: the tour requires a good dose of technique, because of the difficulty of some bridleways and for the kind of trails that descend from Mount Faudo (freeride).
