Diese Tour besteht aus zwei recht unterschiedlichen Strecken: A) Der HInweg ist anspruchsvoll (auch Schiebepassagen), da er meist dem Albtrauf Wanderweg Biosphärengebiet Schwäbische Alb (www.biosphaerengebiet-alb.de) folgt (www.albtrauf.de/). B) Der Rückweg geht über die ehemalige Bahnstrecke, die zwischen 1903 und 1983 von Geislingen an der Steige bis Wiesensteig verlief. Der Weg ist geteert und steigt nur leicht an. Zu A) Das am Albtrauf übliche "Auf und Ab" macht die Strecke anspruchsvoll. Auf Wanderer ist Rücksicht zu nehmen. Wurzeln und Steine erfordern eine gute Konzentration. Dafür wird man mit beeindruckenden Ausblicken vom Albrand belohnt. Zum Schluss geht es steil (aber fahrbar) bergab nach Bad Überkingen zu B) Die Rückfahrt geht bis Mühlhausen auf dem Radweg.
