Die Tour bringt einem das Hinterland rund um Arco, Torbole und Rive etwas näher. Wir starten in Torbole am Hotel Satoni in Richtung Arco auf dem bekannten Radweg entlang der Sarca. Arco ist schnell erreicht. Wir fahren hinauf in Richtung der Festung und dann unterhalb entlang durch viele kleine Gassen, hier ist alles sehr malerisch und ruhig. Es gibt viele Olivenhaine an denen wir immer wieder entlang fahren. Es geht berg auf und berg ab... Dieses auf und nieder ist nicht zu unterschätzen, es kostet richtig Körner. Alle möglichen Fahrbahnbeläge gibt es hier Sand, Forstweg, Karrenweg, Wiesen, gepflasterter Fels und das ständig abwechselnd... Hat man das alles hinter sich gebracht, erreicht man den Wasserfall von Varone. Hier ist es dann vorbei mit der Ruhe. Viel Betrieb, viele Familien mit Auto- und Parkplatzgezeder. Der Trubel nervt uns und wir fahren weiter, übrigens der Eintritt zum Wasserfall kostet 5,- €. Zurück geht es über Riva nach Torbole in Richtung Monte Brione. Die Serpentinen zum Monte Brione beginnen gegenüber dem Jachthafen in Riva, dazu einfach nur die Strasse überqueren, bevor es in den Autotunnel geht. Die asphaltierten Serpentinien sind rasch hochgekurbelt. Oben angekommen kann man eine Bunkeranlage besichtigen und von dieser hat man auch einen guten Ausblick auf Torbole, Riva und die ganze weitere Umgebung. Die paar Höhenmeter hinauf bis zum Sendemasten kann man sich sparen, der Weg dorthin endet vor einem Zaun. Es gibt wohl die Möglichkeit einen Trail hinunter zu fahren nach Riva, der Einstiegspunkt dazu muss wohl genau gegenüber der Bunkeranlage liegen, von dort führt ein kleiner Weg auf dem Bergrücken entlang. Aber das erkunden wir dann vielleicht beim nächsten mal... Wir fahren hinunter nach Riva den gleichen Weg wie wir hochgefahren sind und dann zurück nach Torbole.

The few meters up to the towers you can save yourself, the way there ends in front of a fence. It is probably the way to a trail ride down to Riva, the entry point to must lie exactly opposite the bunker well, from there, a little way along the ridge along. But we explore then maybe next time ... We go down to Riva the same way as we are up and then back to Torbole.
