Distance : 37 km (1500m D+) Départ : Kiosque à musique de Gruffy Les premiers hectomètres jusqu'au cimetière permettent de s'échauffer sur la route goudronnée avant d'attaquer les premiers sentiers de la randonnée. Les chemins empruntés jusqu’à Viuz la Chiezaz ne présentent pas de difficultés particulières et la pente s'élève progressivement. Les longues pentes débutent dès la sortie du village jusqu'au sommet du Semnoz. Pour y parvenir il faudra emprunter une petite portion de la route d'Annecy puis piste forestière qu'il faudra suivre pendant quelques kilomètres. On enchaîne dans la foret sur une partie plus technique qui nous mènera au point culminant de la rando : Le Cret du Chatillon à 1704 m. Une fois sortis de la foret vous traversez les pâturages du Semnoz sur 4 km avant d'entamer la descente Un passage pied sur 600 mètres puis une descente très agréable (pavée) mais physique jusqu’à Allèves. On rejoint Gruffy par la route pour récupérer

The paths to the Viuz Chiezaz do not present particular difficulties and slope gradually rises. The long slopes start right out of the village to the top of Semnoz. To achieve this it will take a small portion of the road Annecy forest track then it will follow for a few kilometers. We move into the forest on a more technical part that will take us to the highest point of the hike: Le Cret of Chatillon to 1704 m. Once out of the forest you cross pastures Semnoz 4 km before beginning the descent One foot passing for 600 meters then a very pleasant descent (paved) but physical to Allèves. Gruffy is joined by road to recover
