schwere Bike und Hike - Endurotour auf den Monte Basettta bei Montello - Morbegno / Colico. Start in Montello, auf Straße bis auf ca. 700m zu einer kleinen Kirche. Weiter auf 1300m auf Schotter. Dann ca. 500hm tragen/schieben zum Mt. Basetta. Ab der Alpe ein gut fahrbarer, anspruchsvoller S2 (Passagen S3) Trail ins Tal, mit kurzer Unterbrechung am Monte Foffriccio und La Piazza. Nach La Piazza nach der Brücke rechts ein extremer Downhilltrail ins Tal, sicher einer der anspruchsvollsten der Gegend. Je mehr man ins Tal kommt desto ruppiger und leider mit Dornen am Wegrand. Für mich war diese Tour das 2012 Enduro Highlight am Comersee! Die anstrengenden 500hm habe ich gerne hochgetragen und werde es sicher wieder tun. Wasser gab es immer wieder unterwegs. Der Querweg zum Mt. Basetta war sichtbar, aber nicht markiert. Der Almwirt auf der Alpe am Mt. Basetta scheint den Weg per Trailmaschine zu fahren, "sentiereo et polito - bonno..." hat er gesagt. Recht hatte er. Über italienische Karten braucht man nicht viel sagen, da ist OSM / Open MTB schon vollständiger.

Heavy Bike and Hike - Enduro Tour to Monte Basettta at Montello - Morbegno / Colico. Home in Montello, on road up to about 700m to a small church. Skip to 1300m to Gravel. Then about 500hm carry / push to Mt Basetta. From the Alps to a well-wheeled, demanding S2 (S3 passages) Trail into the valley, with a short break at Monte Foffriccio and La Piazza. After La Piazza right after the bridge is an extreme downhill trail into the valley, surely one of the most challenging in the area. The more you get the more rougher and unfortunately with thorns on the roadside in the valley. For me this tour was the highlight Enduro 2012 on Lake Como! The busy 500hm I like to have carried high and will do it again safely. Water was always on the go. The cross walk to Mt Basetta was visible but not labeled. The Almwirt on the Alpe at Mt Basetta seems the way to go by trail machine, " sentiereo et polito - bonno ... " he said. He was right. About Italian cards need not say much, since OSM / Open MTB already complete.
