Die Tour führt uns zunächst von Mareit auf Teerstraße bis Ober-Telfes. Dann geht es weiter auf schmalerem Teerweg, der später in einen Forstweg übergeht. Dieser zieht sich mit 13-16% Steigung bis hoch zur Kuhalm. Es folgt ein schöner Wiesenweg, der Ridnauer Höhenweg. In stetigem Auf und Ab gehts weiter zur Stern Hütte. Das Panorama ist vom Feinsten. Blicke bis in die Dolomiten sind bei entsprechendem Wetter möglich. Direkt gegenüber hat man Jaufen und Penser Joch. Nach der Stern Hütte geht es auf Trail weiter. Links vorbei an der Kastell Lacke und runter (kurz schieben) zur Vallming Alm. Es folgt eine schnelle, lange Forstwegabfahrt immer am Vallmingbach entlang. Einige hundert Meter nach der zweiten S-Kombination zweigt der Wanderweg 19A vom Forstweg ab. Dieser führt uns zumeist fahrbar über den Vallmingbach zu einem tiefer gelegenen Forstweg. Hier wieder rechts weiter bis zum nächsten Abzweig 19A. Der Wanderweg ist dann komplett als Trailabfahrt bis Gossensass fahrbar. Zurück nach Sterzing sind dann noch ein paar Höhenmeter über Steckhof zu machen. Ab dann geht es gemütlich nach Sterzing, durch die Fußgängerzone(Cappucino- oder Weizenstopp!)und dann über den schönen Radweg zurück nach Mareit.

The tour takes us from Mareit on tar road to Upper-Telfes. Then it goes on to narrower Teerweg, the later turns into a forest. This takes place with 13-16% slope to high for Kuhalm. It follows a beautiful meadow, the Ridnauer trail. In everlasting up and down on it goes to Star Cottage. The panorama is at its finest. Views to the Dolomites are possible in suitable weather. Directly opposite you Jaufen and Penser yoke. After the star hut it comes to trail further. (Short slide) left past the fort paints and down to Vallming Alm. Following is a quick, long Forstwegabfahrt always Vallmingbach along. A few hundred meters after the second S-19A combination branches of the trail from the forest. This leads us mostly about the mobile Vallmingbach to a deeper forest. Here turn right on to the next junction 19A. The trail is then completely mobile as trail descent to Colle Isarco. Back to Sterzing are still a few meters to worry about Steckhof. From then on, it's cozy to Sterzing, through the pedestrian zone (Cappucino- wheat or stop) and then over the beautiful bike path back to Mareit.
