Partenza dalla chiesa Madre di Ferla,dopo aver preso un buon caffè ci si avvia verso l'agriturismo Campanìo,oltrepassandolo inizia una vecchia strada di basolato lavico tra vecchi caseggiati e praterie,dove iniziando una discesa ci si trova poco dopo immersi in un panorama affascinante ed incantevole-Si procede su pista fino a quando si attraversa una scaletta in legno per poi passare dentro la riserva tra conifere e diverse specie di volatili-Per un attimo viene da pensare che non ci si trova in Sicilia ma..........questa è la vera SICILIA,UNA NATURA LUSSUREGGIANTE E RICCA DI SFUMATURE E COLORI-Poco più avanti un punto di osservazione dove è possibile fare delle ottime foto,un piccolo spuntino e subito in sella verso la seconda meta,CASE GIARRANAUTI.Quì è possibile rifornirsi d'acqua prima di tuffarsi in uno dei tratti più belli della riserva con un belvedere su SORTINO e le valli circostanti-LasciatI case Giarranauti si ritorna dallo stesso percorso fino al bivio dove poco dopo qualche chilometro è possibile visitare le vecchie concerie,dove una volta venivano lavorate le pelli-Da quì in poi inizia l'ultima parte di percorso lungo un bosco fitto di lecci dove il sole riesce a filtrare creando sfumature da fiabe,dopo un falso piano di circa 3,5 km si arriva ad un cancello dove e possibile passare da una scaletta posta ai lati-Ancora qualche sforzo e si passa in asfalto fino ad arrivare in paese e concedersi un dolce e un buon caffè-
