Eine der besten und schönsten Touren der Region. Anfahrt auf Radweg, Auffahrt zur Albhochfläche auf Asphalt und Rückfahrt auf endlosem Singletrack, vorbei an zahlreichen Aussichtspunkten auf das Obere Filstal, mit toller, kurvenreicher Abfahrt bei Bad Überkingen. Wegbeschreibung: Vom Ausgangspunkt überquert man zunächst die B466 und folgt dieser auf dem Radweg nach rechts, in Richtung Bad Überkingen. Dort angekommen fährt man links ortseinwärts. In der Ortsmitte folgt man dem Radwegweiser nach rechts und gelangt nach einer Brücke links auf den Radweg, der auf einer ehemaligen Eisenbahntrasse verläuft und uns über Hausen, Reichenbach, Deggingen und Bad Ditzenbach bis nach Gosbach bringt. Dort angekommen überquert man wieder die B466 an einer Fußgängerampel direkt am Radweg und fährt dann ortseinwärts. An der Gabelung links halten und gleich nach Beginn des Anstiegs rechts in die Schulstraße abbiegen, dieser bis zum Ende folgen und dann links bergauf fahren. Nun geht es ortsauswärts auf einer relativ ruhigen Asphaltstraße einige Zeit bergauf bis zum Wanderparkplatz "Aimer" auf der Schwäbischen Alb, wo die Tour erst richtig ins Gelände führt. Man fährt links über den Parkplatz und hält sich auf dem linken Schotterweg, der gleich in den Wald führt. Nun gilt es, nicht den beginnenden Singletrack nach links zu verpassen, der nur wenige hundert Meter danach vom Schotterweg abzweigt. Auf dem schmalen Pfad sollte man auf Fußgänger achten und besser weit vorher absteigen. Man kann so sich und anderen Bikern so manchen Ärger ersparen bzw. es zumindest versuchen. Es sollte jedem Biker bewusst sein, daß es eigentlich in Baden-Württemberg verboten ist, Wege mit weniger als 2m Breite zu befahren, also bitte wenigstens absteigen wenn Fußgänger kommen. An der Gabelung kann man beide Richtungen wählen, da der Weg gleich wieder zusammen führt. Gleich kommt man zu einem Fels namens Tierstein, wo die erste Aussicht hinab ins Filstal genossen werden kann. Danach führt der Weg längere Zeit immer entlang dem Steilabfall der Alb, dem sogenannten Albtrauf. Hier ist nun Fahrsicherheit von Nöten, da man sonst an manchen Stellen abstürzen kann. Es ist aber sicher einer der besten Singletracks im Land. Nach einiger Zeit Fahrspaß gelangt man auf einen Schotterweg, dem man nach links folgt. Es kommt nun eine Gabelung, wo man sich links hält, dann überquert man die Straße und fährt auf dem schmalen Singletrack am Verkehrsschild vorbei weiter. Der Oberbergfels ist nun nicht mehr weit, hier kann man Rast machen und die Aussicht genießen. Bald kommt man an einen Aussichtspunkt auf einer kleinen Heide, dann geht es recht technisch bergab, woraufhin ein etwas breiterer Weg kreuzt. Diesem folgt man nur ganz kurz nach links bergab, dann geht es gleich sehr steil auf schmalem Pfad rechts bergauf, hier steigt fast jeder ab, bald ist der Weg jedoch wieder fahrbar. Die Kapelle lässt man dann links liegen. Danach sucht man sich wieder den schmalen Weg, indem man sich möglichst links hält. Nun kommt man an einen weiteren Aussichtspunkt "Kilianskreuz", danach geht es weiter, bis man in einen breiten Weg mündet, der rechts in einen Schotterweg führt und einen am Wald entlang in Richtung Aufhausen führt. Auf Asphalt angekommen fährt man links in den Ort hinein und nach kurzer Bergauffahrt gleich wieder rechts in die Ringstraße. Nach wenigen Metern muß man links ab, wo gleich ein Schotterweg beginnt. Dieser geht bald in einen Erdweg über und man hält sich eher links, wo man wieder an der Kante entlang auf einem Singletrack fährt. An einem kreuzenden Weg fährt man geradeaus, am Waldrand entlang und bald über eine weite Fläche leicht bergab. Am nächsten Waldrand fährt man rechts entlang und erreicht die Sichtweite des nächsten Ortes Türkheim. Man fährt links und kommt auf eine Durchgangsstraße, auf der man links bis zur nächsten Einmündung gelangt und dort noch einmal links Richtung Ortsmitte fährt. Dort verlässt man die Hauptstraße nach links in die Schul- und danach rechts in die Hintere Gasse. Am Ende fährt man auf den Schotterweg, der auf der Höhe entlangführt. Nun kann man noch einmal nach einigen Metern links auf einen Grashügel fahren und die hier besonders schöne Aussicht auf das Obere Filstal mit dem Weigoldsberg in der Mitte genießen, oder man tut dies am bald folgenden Drachenfliegerstartplatz. Danach fährt man auf dem Schotterweg weiter und links in den Wald hinein, wo der Weg bald wieder schmal wird. Nach einer Senke kommt man auf einen weiteren Schotterweg, der direkt zum Kahlenstein führt. In der Nähe zweier Bänke sollte man sich nun für die längere, technische Abfahrt vorbereiten und den Sattel tiefer stellen (Absturzgefahr!). Links führt der tolle Singletrack über ein paar Stufen hinab zum Höhleneingang der Kahlensteinhöhle (geschlossen), wo man wendet und nach links über steile Stufen weiter bergab fährt, nun kommen einige Spitzkehren, die je nach Fahrkönnen auch fahrbar sind. Am Ende nach einer geraden Abfahrt mündet man in einen ebenen Weg, dem man nach rechts mit Blick auf Bad Überkingen folgt. Nach einem kurzen Gefälle fährt man den breiteren Weg nach rechts hoch. Oben angekommen hält man nach einem weiteren kurzen Singletrack Ausschau, der links zu einem kleinen Waldheim hinab führt. Hier kann man Treppen fahren üben, es geht vom Haus nach links über Treppen in Richtung Wohnhäuser, dort rechts um die Kurve und auf den Asphaltweg hinab, dem man nach rechts folgt. Bald fährt man links in einer Niesche hinab, wo unten ein Schotterweg folgt. Rechts halten und auf Asphalt rechts und gleich links hinab in Richtung B466. Nun fährt man links auf dem Radweg zum Ausgangspunkt zurück.

One of the best and most beautiful tours in the region. Directions to Cycle Path, Driveway to the Alb plateau on asphalt and return to endless single track, passing numerous vantage points on the Upper Fils Valley, with a great, twisty downhill in Bad Ueberkingen. Keep left at the fork and turn right after the start of the rise right into the school road, follow it to the end and then turn left uphill. Soon you come to a vantage point on a small heath, it is rather technical downhill, then crosses a somewhat broader way. The chapel is then allowed to lie to the left. Then you look back to the narrow way, by keeping to the left as possible. When you come to another vantage point & quot; Kilian Cross & quot ;, then it continues until one opens out into a wide path that leads right into a dirt road and into the woods along the direction Aufhausen. Once on asphalt, turn left into the village and after a short uphill right again in the ring road. After a few meters you need from the left and find like a dirt road begins. This soon changes into a dirt road and keep to the more left where you drive back along the edge on a single track. At a crossing route, drive straight on, along the forest and soon over a wide area slightly downhill. Then you drive on the dirt road and left into the woods, where the trail soon becomes narrow. After a dip to get on another dirt road that leads directly to Kahlenstein. Near two benches now you should prepare for the long, technical descent and the saddle lower filters (fall hazard). Links lead to the great single track over a few steps down to the cave entrance of Bald Cave (closed), where you turn left and continues downhill on steep steps, now some hairpins that are mobile depending on driving ability come. At the end after a straight descent you join in a level path, which you follow to the right overlooking Bad Ueberkingen. Following a short gradient to drive the broader way up to the right. At the top is kept for a further short singletrack that climbs left to a small Waldheim down. Here you can practice driving stairs, it goes from the house to the left on stairs towards houses, down there right around the bend and on the asphalt road, which you follow to the right. Soon, turn left down in an alcove, where below follows a dirt road. Keep right and on asphalt right and immediately left down towards B466. Now, turn left back on the bike path to the starting point.
