Tag 2: Stanghe – Pfelders Heute stand die Schneebergscharte an und die Wetteraussichten für den Mittag waren gelinde gesagt schlecht. In feuchtwarmer morgendlicher Hitze ging es auf einer asphaltierten Nebenstrecke bis zum Bergwerk in Ridnaun, unterbrochen durch einen lästigen, weil nicht besonders gut fahrbaren Trail am Hang entlang. Von dort ging es zunächst sehr steil, später dann gut fahrbahr bis Moarerbergalm, wo wir uns noch kurz stärkten, bevor wir uns an den Aufstieg zum Kaindljoch machten. Das Wetter hatte inzwischen zugezogen, als wir uns mit zwei anderen Bikerpärchen auf den Weg machten. Ab der Hälfte der Strecke begann es heftig zu stürmen und zu regnen und die Temperatur sank rapide. Nach zwei Stunden wenig schieben und viel tragen und einem kurzen Fotostopp machten wir uns dann an den Absteig, nach ca. 100 hm dann auf die weitere Abfahrt zum Bergwerk St. Martin am Schneeberg. Zwischenzeitlich schüttete es wie aus Eimern. Nach einer einstündigen Pause ging es zunächst auf einem Trail, später dann auf einem Fahrweg bis zur Timmelsjochstraße, auf der wir dann ein Stückchen weiter bis zu einem Abzweig ins Tal sind, von wo man auf dem E5-Weg bis nach Moos kommt. Von Moos aus geht es nochmals 650 hm rauf bis nach Pfelders zum empfehlenswerten Gasthof Zeppichl (liegt am Meraner Höhenweg, daher unbedingt reservieren).

Day 2: Stanghe & ndash; Area Plan Today the Schneebergscharte stood on and the weather forecast for the afternoon were to say the least bad. In warm humid morning heat it went on a paved side road to the mine in Ridnaun interrupted by annoying because not very good mobile trail along the slope. From there it was initially very steep, well then later moving to bahr Moarerbergalm where we have strengthened ourselves just before we started the climb to Kaindljoch. The weather had now drawn, as we went with two other couples Biker on the road. From half way it started violently storming and raining and the temperature dropped rapidly. After two hours, a little push and carry a lot and a short photo stop we made our to the Descend, after about 100 hm then on the other exit to the mine St. Martin am Schneeberg. In the meantime, it poured with rain. After an hour's break it first went on a trail, then later on a track to Timmelsjochstrasse on which we are a bit then go to a branch of the valley, from where one comes to the E5-way up to Moos. Of moss from it's once again up to 650 hm according to the Area Plan recommended Gasthof Zeppichl (located at the Merano High Mountain Trail, so definitely reserve).
