Die fahrtechnisch unschwierige Tour führt auf gut fahrbaren kleinen Straßen und Wirtschaftswegen über die Hänge oberhalb von Tartsch nach Matsch und von dort auf einer kleinen Straße weiter bis zu den Glieshöfen im landschaftlich reizvollen Matscher Tal. Ausgangsort ist Mals im Vinschgau. Wir folgen der Vinschgau-Straße (SS40) etwa 2 Kilometer bis Tartsch und biegen dort am Ortsausgang nach links auf die Straße ins Matscher Tal ab. Nach zwei Kehren halten wir uns bei ca. 1.380 hm erneut links auf einer schmalen Straße nach Muntatschinig. Dort angekommen bleiben wir weiter auf dem Fahrweg (geradeaus) und passieren den Hof Gemassen (1.604 m). Oberhalb des Hofes (1.687 m) treffen wir im Wald auf eine Wegkreuzung, dort folgen wir geradeaus dem Wanderweg 18A in Richtung Matsch. Oberhalb von Matsch teilt sich der Weg, wir nehmen den Forstweg hinunter in den Ort (Wanderweg 13 und 15A). In Matsch folgen wir der Straße in Richtung Glieshof weiter ins Tal hinein. Beim dortigen Gasthof endet die Fahrstraße - wer noch Lust hat, kann auf einem Almweg weiter fahren bis zur Matscher Alm (gut 200 hm). Für den Rückweg nutzen wir nach einer kurzen Schleife über den Wanderweg 20 wieder die Straße nach Matsch, biegen jedoch auf halber Strecke nach links auf den Wirtschaftsweg im Talgrund ab (Richtung Tumpaschin-Hof). Diesem folgen wir bis zum Kurtatsch-Hof, von wo aus wir nach einer Geländestufe wieder nach rechts hinauf zur Hauptstraße fahren. Diese verlassen wir erneut in Richtung Muntatschinig, halten uns dieses Mal jedoch im Weiler links in Richtung Mals (Wanderweg 14). Auf Wanderwegen gelangen wir schließlich zurück in den Ort (ggf. schieben). Alternativ ist auch der Rückweg nach Schluderns (über die Ruine von Schloss Matsch) möglich - von dort aus über Radwege oder mit der Vinschger Bahn zurück nach Mals.

The technically not a difficult route leads to good mobile small streets and rural roads across the slopes above Tartsch by mud and from there on a small road next to the Glienicke farms in scenic Matsch Valley. The starting point is Malles Venosta. We follow the Vinschgau-road (SS40) about 2 miles to Tartsch and turn at the exit to the left on the road into the valley from Matsch. After two turns we keep at about 1,380 hm left again onto a narrow road to Muntatschinig. Once there, we will remain on the track (straight) and pass the farm Gemassen (1,604 m). Above the farm (1,687 m) we meet in the forest to a crossroads, where we follow the trail straight ahead in direction 18A mud. Above mud divides the way we take the forest path down to the village (trail 13 and 15A). In mud we follow the road towards Glieshof further into the valley. At the local inn the driveway ends - who still feels like it can on a Almweg continue to Matsch Alm (about 200 hm). For the return trip, we use a short loop on the trail 20 again the road to mud, however, turn halfway to the left on the service road in the valley (towards Tumpaschin-Hof). We follow this up to Kurtatsch-yard, from where we ascend by a ground level to the right again to the main road. This we leave again towards Muntatschinig, keep us this time, however, in the hamlet left towards times (trail 14). On trails we finally get back to the place (if necessary move). Alternatively, it is also the way back to Schluderns (on the ruins of Castle mud) possible - from there on bike paths or with the Vinschgerbahn back to times.
