Un'escursione abbastanza strong che partendo da Ganna sale al Monte Piambello per poi passare dal Belvedere di Marzio e terminare al Monte Caslano (CH). Il ritorno si fa sulla ciclabile che partendo da Lavena Ponte Tresa ci riporta in Valganna.
Attenzione:
1 - superata la Bocchetta dei Frati (scendendo dal Piambello 5° tornante e comunque ben segnalata dalla cartellonistica) il sentiero diventa, in occasione di piogge copiose, il letto di un torrente, è opportuno quindi , per evitare dolorose cadute,scendere dalla biga tanto il tratto da fare a piedi è piuttosto breve. Superato questo punto critico, il percorso diventa scorrevole e anche abbastanza divertente.
2 - la salita al Monte Caslano avviene sulla strada forestale (ben tenuta - siamo in Svizzera), arrivati al culmine si deve però ridiscendere per la stessa forestale. Il Sentiero Didattico (così è indicato sui cartelli) che gira intorno al monte, da quel punto, non è più pedalabile - io lo percorso praticamente trascinandomi al biga in spalla. An excursion strong enough that starting from Ganna climbs Mount Piambello to change from Belvedere di Marzio and end at Mount Locarno (CH). The return is made on the path that starts from Lavena Ponte Tresa us back in Valganna.
Warning:
1 - exceeded Bocchetta dei Frati (down from Piambello 5th hairpin and however well marked by signs) the path becomes, during heavy rain, the bed of a stream, it is therefore necessary to avoid painful falls, down from the chariot so the stretch by foot is fairly short. After this critical point, the path becomes smooth and even quite fun.
2 - the climb to Monte Locarno takes place on the forest road (well maintained - we are in Switzerland), arrived at the peak, it must however descend to the same forest. The Path of Teaching (as is indicated on the signs) that goes around the mountain, from that point, it is no longer pedaled - I practically dragged me to the path chariot in the shoulder.
