DESCRIZIONE:
Si risale la val Vanoi lungo il corso del torrente, quindi con uno strappo si guadagna il grande ponte che attraversa la valle; tramite esso ci si porta sulla Dx (orografica) e si prosegue su bella forestale quasi piana (ormai purtroppo asfaltata) fino al successivo ponticello che, poco oltre Caoria, torna sulla sx del torrente. Si continua a risalire la valle ora sulla principale ben asfaltata fino a Refavaie dove si trova l’omonimo rifugio (ed il bivio per passo 5 Croci). Da qui si lascia la valle principale per risalire la laterale Val di Coldosè; la salita è ben pedalabile anche per l’ottimo fondo. Si arriva a q. 1750 alla base della malga Fossernica di Dentro da cui si gode ampia vista su quasi tutta la catena del Lagorai (incombe, per la vicinanza, il ben noto Monte Cauriol q.2494 - consiglio Tabacco 14 per la toponomastica). Inizia un tratto altalenante, con brevi strappi, sul versante sud della Cima dei Paradisi e qui si tocca la max q. 1820 m. Poi inizia la discesa che raggiunge presto la m.ga Fossernica di Fuori da cui, con numerosi tornanti, si scende in val Zanca. Superata una breve contropendenza si prosegue in veloce discesa fino all’imbocco della Valsorda (wp L q. 1130) ed ormai resta un’unica discesa per la valle che porta a Caoria. Per evitare un po’ di asfalto, nel wp M q. 880 (tornante in vista di Caoria) si devia per uno sterrato che scende alla strada di fondovalle (già percorsa all’andata) nel wp N q. 795. Si prosegue sulla principale fino al bivio Z, in periferia di Canale S.B. e da qui si devia verso il ponte; al suo inizio si ritrova, nel wp A, lo sterrato che scende all’area picnic da cui siamo partiti.
Dalla statale FELTRE - SAN MARTINO DI CASTROZZA, prima di fiera di Primiero si trova ind. per Canale San Bovo; appena lasciata la statale si attraversa una lunga galleria che termina poco prima di Canale S.B; appena dopo il ponte (anziché proseguire per il centro) si svolta a dx e si scende nella Val dei Faori, puntando al fondovalle dove scorre il T. Vanoi. Dopo circa 1 Km la strada piega a dx portandosi parallela al torrente; ancora circa 600 m e si arriva all’area sosta /picnic dove si parcheggia.

DESCRIPTION:
Climb the val Vanoi along the stream, then with a tear earns the big bridge that crosses the valley; through it there is the door on your right (orographic) and continue on beautiful forest almost flat (unfortunately now paved) until the next bridge, just beyond Caoria, back on the left of the stream. It continues up the valley now on the main well paved until Refavaie where is the refuge of the same name (and the junction to step 5 Crosses). From here you leave the main valley to climb the side of Val Coldosè; the climb is easy to cycle for the excellent background. You get to q. 1750 at the base of the hut Fossernica di Dentro which offers a wide view of almost the entire chain of Lagorai (incumbent, for the closeness, the well-known Monte Cauriol q.2494 - Tobacco Board 14 for the toponymy). Start a sudden ups and downs, with short tears, on the south side of the Summit of the Heavens and here you touch the q max. 1820 m. Then begins the descent soon reaches the m.ga Fossernica Out of which, with many twists and turns, you go down in val Zanca. Beyond a short contropendenza continue in the fast descent to the entrance of Valsorda (wp L q. 1130) and is now a single downhill to the valley that leads to Caoria. To avoid a bit 'of asphalt in wp M q. 880 (bend in view of Caoria) then turn onto a dirt road that descends to the valley road (we have already covered) in wp N q. Continue on the main 795 to the junction Z, on the outskirts of SB Channel and from here we turn to the bridge; at its inception can be found in the wp A, the dirt road leading down to the picnic area where we started.
From state FELTRE - SAN MARTINO DI CASTROZZA before fair Primiero is ind. for Canal San Bovo; just left the highway you drive through a long tunnel which ends just before SB Channel; just after the bridge (rather than continuing to the center) turn right and descend into the valley of Faori, pointing to the valley where the T. Vanoi flows. After about 1 km the road bends to the right, taking along the stream; still about 600 m and you will arrive to the park / picnic where you park.
