In assoluto uno dei più bei giri che si possano fare nei dintorni di Merano, non manca niente per i biker più esigenti, salite impegnative, discese divertenti, panorami favolosi, rifugi e possibilità di evitare le parti più difficili per i biker meno preparati.
Dal parcheggio si sale a Falzeben per strade secondarie e poi a Merano 2000 per bella forestale nel bosco. Comincia adesso il tratto panoramico in quota, si sale su sentiero sempre pedalabile (a seconda delle capacità) fino al rifugio Valcanova, poi dopo breve discesa si sale al punto più alto, il monte Catino con breve tratto a spinta. Qui il panorama a 360° è favoloso con vista su quasi tutte le montagne del trentino alto adige. Si scende poi su discesa divertente e tecnica ai rifugi Mittager e Merano (ristori). Adesso si segue il bellissimo sentiero E5 in saliscendi fino agli ometti di pietra, un sito magico e molto panoramico. Arriviamo poi alla malga di Verano (ristoro) e cominciamo uno dei sentieri più belli in assoluto, a patto di possedere una buona tecnica di discesa (eventualmente, dalla malga wurz (ristoro) seguire la forestale fino ad avelengo). Un orgia di massi fissi, radici, saltini e tratti ripidi dove poter dare sfogo alla propria fantasia. Da avelengo paese si arriva in breve al parcheggio. Superstrada bolzano merano uscita merano sud, seguire per Scena poi per Falzeben-Merano 2000, parcheggio 100 metri dopo la caserma dei carabinieri
