Giro spettacolare nell'ambiente del ghiacciaio Aletsch ! Non presenta particolari difficolta' tecniche ma allo stesso tempo regala panorami e sensazioni uniche.
Si parte da Bettmeralp, che si trova nel soleggiato Canton Vallese, nel sud della Svizzera.
Bettmeralp, e' raggiungibile tramite funivia con la bici al seguito. L'auto si puo' lasciare nei pressi del parcheggio della funivia.

Una volta arrivati a Bettmeralp (1924 mt) si oltrepassa il centro del villaggio molto caratteristico e si prosegue per Fiescheralp.
Quindi si comincia a salire oltrepassando localita' Obers Tälli fino all'ingresso di un tunnel che si percorre fino all'uscita verso il lago Vordersee (2360 mt). Qui la traccia GPS prosegue per una piccola deviazione (evitabile) che consente di portarsi in vista del Fieschergletscher.
Ritornati verso il lago Vordersee si prosegue verso lo spettacolare ghiacciaio Aletsch. Si costeggia in quota il ghiacciaio per alcuni km in ambiente d'alta quota con vista fino alla cima Jungfrau (4158 mt).
Terminato il tratto lungo il ghiacciaio si ritorna verso Bettmeralp passando vicino al lago Bettmersee (2006 mt).
Ritornati all'arrivo della funivia si puo' scendere fino alla partenza della stessa tramite sentieri (single track) a volte molto ripidi, quindi percorso un tratto della strada cantonale si riguadagna il parcheggio della funivia.

Once in Bettmeralp (1924 m) pass the center of the village is very quaint and continues to Fiescheralp.
So you start to climb past the locality 'Obers Tälli to the entrance of a tunnel that runs until the exit to the lake Vordersee (2360 mt). Here the GPS track continues for a small deviation (avoidable) that allows you to take in views of the Fieschergletscher.
Back towards the lake Vordersee continue towards the spectacular Aletsch glacier. Walk along the high altitude glacier for a few km in high altitude environment with a view to the top of Jungfrau (4158 m).
After the stretch along the glacier returns to Bettmeralp passing near the lake Bettmersee (2006 mt ).
Once back at the cable car you can 'go down to the start of the same through the paths (single track) at times very steep, then along a stretch of the main road it regains the parking lot of the cable car.
