Una valida alternativa al classico Montagnana-Cavalcalupo-Scarabello.
Questo percorso, fisicamente e tecnicamente più impegnativo del giro giro classico parte ed arriva da Ravarano (alta Val Baganza) circa 6-7 km dopo Calestano. Il via è dal piccolo parcheggio di fronte all'osteria di Ravarano, dove troviamo anche la prima delle 3 fontane del giro, ed inizia imboccando la strada che dal parcheggio sale verso Monte Montagnana, dopo poche centinaia di metri, la strada viene però subito abbandonata in favore di una carraia che sale a sinistra, conosciuta come "strada vecchia di Ravarano" che ci riporta a Nord in direzione Linara - Vigolone - Fonte di San Giovanni, dove troviamo la seconda fontana che anche il 18 agosto aveva un getto di tutto rispetto. La strada che fino ad ora è stata abbastanza pianeggiante inizia a salire in modo deciso e su fondo smosso fino a raggiungere i quasi 1300 metri di Montagnana. Ora il pezzo più duro è superato e si sali/scende in direzione Monte Cavalcalupo, prima però di iniziare il tratto più tecnico che ci porterebbe a Cavalcalupo dopo aver superato la strada che sulla destra scende a Lama, giriamo a destra entrando nel bosco e dopo circa 400-500 metri incontriamo la terza fontana del giro. Qui c'è da fare un po' di attenzione perché la sorgente è circa 10 metri sotto il sentiero e c'è da procedere lentamente per poterla individuare.

Da questo punto inizia la discesa, a tratti tecnica, che puntando in direzione La Costa attraversa il torrente Arso per poi passare sotto la parte più alta ed orientale dei famosi "Salti del Diavolo"
e ritornare sull'asfalto in località Chiastre. Da Chiastre (dopo breve ristoro al bar) in parte via asfalto e in parte via sterrato che costeggia la strada rientriamo a Ravarano. Partenza da Ravarno che si trova sulla strada (SP 15) che collega Calestano (PR) con Berceto (PR) a circa 7km dopo Calestano

A good alternative to the classic Montagnana-Cavalcalupo-Scarabello.
This way, physically and technically more challenging than the classic tour around leaves and arrives from Ravarano (high Val Baganza) about 6-7 km after Caledon. The route is from the small parking lot in front of the tavern Ravarano, where we also find the first of 3 fountains around, and began taking the road from the car park up towards Monte Montagnana, after a few hundred meters, but now the road is abandoned in favor of a dirt road that climbs to the left, known as the "old road Ravarano" which brings us back to the north in the direction Linara - Vigolone - Source of St. John, where we find the second fountain that August 18 was a jet of respect . The road so far has been relatively flat start to climb decisively and on loose surfaces until reaching almost 1300 meters of Montagnana. Now the hardest part is exceeded and the up / down direction in Monte Cavalcalupo, but before you start the most technical stretch that would lead us to Cavalcalupo after crossing the road on the right goes down to Lama, turn right into the woods and after about 400-500 meters we find the fountain of the third lap. Here to do a little 'attention because the source is about 10 feet below the trail and need to proceed slowly to be able to identify.
