Il nome di questo itinerario deriva dal fatto che si sale sulla via del Santo e si scende per la Madonna dell'Agnelezza, passando per il santuario di Santa Augusta.
Precisamente: Serravalle, Via Sfadigà, via del Santo, malga Coro, Taffarel, rifugio Vittorio Veneto, Madonna dell'Agnelezza, Santa Augusta, Serravalle.
Per la salita, sebbene il dislivello non sia tantissino, a mettere i bastoni fra le ruote ci sono le belle pendenze delle due salite, che fino a malga Coro, non danno tanti respiri.
La salita è per gran parte cementata, asfaltata o su fondi molto scorrevi su strade per nulla trafficate. Credo che con una vam superiore ai 700-800 mt/h, sia possibile farla tutta i sella.
Arrivati in cima, consiglio una breve sosta al Vittorio Veneto o a malga Coro, prima della discesa.
La discesa sarà impegnativa, prima per il fondo poco compatto, poi per i diversi passaggi tecnici, a volte lenti trialistici, altre volte scassati veloci.
Il bello è dovuto al fatto che, il livello tecnico non cala mai troppo e la discesa è da godere fino all'ultimo. Alla fine, sono sceso, per la via dei fedeli che salgono al santuario, cosa sicuramente poco gradita ai pedoni, quindi si raccomanda, massimo rispetto.
Attenzione ai canali di scolo che tagliano questa via, dei veri e propri 'tyres-killer', da affrontare pianissimo.
Nel percorso si passano alcune proprietà private, ancora, massimo rispetto, passare piano e chiedere 'permesso'.
PERSONALMENTE, considerato il grado di difficoltà e la durata della discesa, consiglierei una full 140-150mm, per poter affrontare buona parte del percorso in sella. Serravalle. Parcheggio all'incrocio delle 3 strade.
