Bellissimo e panoramico percorso in Alta Val Bedretto che parte da Airolo (Canton Ticino) e sale, prima, al Passo del Gottardo e poi segue una bella strada sterrata che entra nel versante sinistro idrografico della Val Bedretto ed entra nella valle.
La nostra traccia GPS non sale al passo ma taglia la strada vecchia per entrare sulla strada nuova. Se avete le gambe consiglio di allungare sulla strada vecchia fino al passo e da qui seguire le indicazioni per la Strada Alta perchè la nuova strada del Gottardo è molto trafficata!
La strada alta entra in Val Bedretto e a circa metà della valle, diventa un sentiero che continua lungo la valle ed arriva alla Capanna Piansecco (gestita dalle simpatiche Enrica e Francesca -).
Il tratto da Ronco alla capanna alterna tratti ciclabili con tratti a piedi, inclusa una bella risalita di circa 100 m di dislivello su una bella traccia un pò friabile.
Dalla Capanna, se le gambe girano, potete continuare fino al passo della Novena su sentiero molto impegnativo (molti tratti da fare bici a mano).
Oppure, come abbiamo fatto noi, potete scendere lungo il divertente ed adrenalico sentiero che dalla capanna va all'Acqua.
Prima di raggiungere la strada seguite la sterrata sulla sinistra che arriva ad una stalla dove parte il misto sterrata-sentiero che arriva a Ronco, così evitate la strada asfaltata.
Da Ronco fino a Fontana si è obbligati a scendere lungo l'asfalto (possibilità di fare dei sentieri, ma un pò complicato).
Da Fontana, con saliscendi su sterrata, si rientra ad Airolo.

Beautiful and scenic route in the Upper Bedrettotal starts from Airolo (Canton Ticino) and salt, first, to the Gotthard Pass and then follows a beautiful dirt road that enters the left side of the basin Bedrettotal and enters the valley.
Our GPS track does not rise to the step size but the old road to get on the new road. If you have advice to stretch your legs on the old road to the pass and then follow the signs to the High Street because the new Gotthard road is very busy!
The high road enters Bedrettotal and about half of the valley, it becomes a path that continues along the valley and arrive at the hut Piansecco (run by Enrica nice and Francesca -).
The stretch from Ronco to the cabin cycle alternates with sections on foot, including a beautiful ascent of about 100 m in altitude on a beautiful track a little crumbly.
From the Hut, if your legs are spinning, you can continue to step on the path of the Novena very challenging (many taken from bike to do by hand).
Or, as we did, you can go down the fun and adrenal path from the hut goes to Water.
Before reaching the road, follow the road on the left that comes to a stall where part of the mixed-dirt path that arrives at Ronco, so keep away from the paved road .
From Ronco up to Fontana was forced to travel down the asphalt (possibility of making the trails, but a little complicated).
From Fontana, with ups and downs on the dirt, falls to Airolo.
