DESCRIZIONE
Dal parchggio a lato del rist. La Posada, si inizia subito a salire; dopo un primo tratto ripido, asfaltato, la strada spiana e presto si entra nel boscoso versante nord dell'Argentario. Al bivio di q. 90 (wp B) si tiene a dx e si prosegue in moderata e piacevolissima salita per quasi 3 km, poi con una impegnativa rampa, si guadagna la strada asfaltata che sale al Convento dei Padri Passionisti. Poco dopo si arriva al Convento (q. 270) dove si trova una fontanella ed uno stupendo poggio panoramico affacciato sulla Laguna di Ponente. Breve pausa ristoro poi si prosegue in salita sulla SP 77 che porterebbe in cima al monte; invece, dopo 370 m (wp E) si devia a sx per un buon sterrato che prosegue in salita con pendenze assai variabili (brevi contropendenze) per quasi 3 km, poi una durissima rampa cementata conduce al bivio dell'Annunziata (wp E q. 420).
La strada prosegue in salita, prima facile poi sempre più ripida e non si esclude una buona camminata, spingendo la bici, prima di arrivare nel punto di scollinamento a q. 590, a nord della cima (Il Telegrafo q. 630). Si ritrova l'asfalto e si percorre in discesa la SP 77 che proviene dal Convento. In discesa si consigliano soste nei punti più panoramici (tornante di Poggio Bellavista) ed in particolare la deviazione verso la grande Croce (il Predicatore) che consente un facile rientro in traccia nel wp G (q. 480).
Nel wp G si lascia l'asfalto e si percorre la panoramica discesa della Costa delle Capanne fino a ritrovare l'asfato nel wp H nei pressi di case Dell'Omo. Da qui, quasi tutta discesa (ripida asfaltata nella parte alta, poi sterrata) fino al paese di Pozzarello sul lungomare, percorso dalla SP 161. Non resta che seguire questa strada costiera (purtroppo trafficata e sprovvista di ciclabile) per circa 5,5 km, fino al park in loc. Terrarossa, da cui siamo partiti.

Provenendo da nord, si lambisce Grossetto e ci si innesta sulla SS n° 1 Aurelia in dir. sud, mentre da Roma-Civitavecchia, la si risale in dir. nord.Da nord, le indicazioni da seguire saranno: ARGENTARIO - Porto Santo Stefano e da sud: Orbetello - Porto Ercole.
Queste indicazioni portano a percorrere rispettivamente il Tombolo della Giannella o quello di Orbetello. Arrivati sulla SP n° 2 di Monte Argentario, al bivio dove la diga di Orbetello si unisce al Monte Argentario (loc. Terrarossa), si trova il ristorante La Posada nei cui pressi si parcheggia; a 100 m, in dir di Feniglia, si nota un distributore: è dotato di un bar con ottimi servizi.

DESCRIPTION
parchggio From the side of the rest. La Posada, he immediately begins to climb; after an initial steep section, tarmac, the road flattens and soon you enter the wooded north side of the Argentario. At the junction of q. 90 (wp B) is held on the right and continue a moderate and pleasant climb to nearly 3 km, then with a busy ramp, you reach the paved road that goes up to the Monastery of the Passionist Fathers. Shortly after you arrive at the Convento (q. 270) where there is a fountain and a beautiful hilltop setting overlooking the Laguna di Ponente. A short refreshment break then continue uphill on the SP 77, which would lead in the top of the mountain; however, after 370 m (wp E) you turn left for a good dirt road that leads uphill slopes with highly variable (short counterslopes) for almost 3 km, then a harsh concrete ramp leads to the junction of the Annunciation (wp E q. 420).
The road continues uphill, before easier then ever steeper and we can not exclude a good walk, pushing the bike, before arriving at the point of the brow at q. 590, north of the summit (The Telegraph q. 630). He finds the tarmac and walk down the SP 77, which comes from the Convent. Downhill we recommend stopping the vantage points (hairpin Poggio Bellavista) and in particular the deviation toward the great cross (the Preacher), which allows an easy re-entry in wp trace in G (q. 480).
In wp G you leave the asphalt and the more scenic downhill coast of the huts to find the asfato in wp H near homes Dell'Omo. From here, almost all downhill (steep asphalt at the top, then a dirt road) to the village of Pozzarello waterfront path from the SP 161 that remains is to follow this coastal road (unfortunately busy and without a path) for about 5.5 km up to the park in loc. Terrarossa, from which we started.

Coming from the north, and there is laps Grossetto joins the SS 1 Aurelia in dir. south, and from Rome-Civitavecchia, the climb in dir. nord.Da north, follow the signs to be: Argentario - Porto Santo Stefano and south: Orbetello - Porto Ercole.
