Questo è uno dei miei giri preferiti, con bellissimi panorami, (nell'ultima parte ho dovuto tornare sull'asfalto per motivi di tempo a disposizione, ma da San Donato è possibile scendere all'Antella sullo sterro in diversi modi). La partenza è dalla Piazza Peruzzi, su per Via dei Romanelli, si attraversa il poste sull'autostrada e al primo bivio inizia lo sterrato (tenere la sinistra e poi la destra). Bellissimo il tratto sopra l'antico Spedale del Bigallo, con il tratto dell'antica Via Flamina dentro il bosco.
Si costeggia il Nuovo Ranch e sotto al Monte Cucco si svolta sullo sterrato per L'incontro e poi si prende in direzione Rosano. Seguendo la traccia si arriva sulla provinciale che porta a Rignano e la si attraversa (e lì si trova una fontana, la successiva a San Donato o facendo una piccola deviazione a Troghi).
Al discesa da Poggio Verrucolo (sopra Troghi)inizia da una sbarra di metallo arancione che delimita un campo, e arriva fino a Cellai. E' un single track molto divertente e abbastanza lungo, ma ...occhio ai ginepri sporgenti! Piuttosto impegnativa in alcuni tratti, ma non particolarmente tecnica, la salita che si fa da Cellai fino a poco sotto il Poggio Firenze.
In altrenativa, da Poggio Aiaia (circa 435m) si può raggiungere San Polo, Fontesanta, Poggio alla Croce (verso il Monte Muro)...insomma è un vero crocevia!
P.s. Non dimenticate una schiacciata da campionato del mondo alla botteghina di San Donato... Piazza principale dell'Antella (FI), Piazza Peruzzi.

This is one of my favorite rides, with beautiful views, (the last part I had to go back on the tarmac for reasons of time, but you can go down to San Donato all'Antella on earthworks in various ways). The departure is from Piazza Peruzzi, on Via dei Romanelli, cross the highway and put the dirt road begins at the first junction (keep to the left and then the right). Beautiful stretch above the old hospital Bigallo, with the stretch of the ancient Via Flaminia in the woods.
Along the New Ranch and below the Monte Cucco turn on the dirt road to the meeting and then take it towards Rosano. Following the track you get on the road that leads to Rignano and cross it (and there is a fountain, next to the San Donato or by making a small detour to Troghi).
Al Poggio descent from verrucol (above Troghi) starts from a metal bar orange delimiting a field, and up to Cellai. It 'a very fun single track and fairly long, but ... watch out for protruding junipers! Quite challenging in some places, but not particularly technical, the climb is done by Cellai to just below the Poggio Firenze.
In altrenativa, from Poggio Aiaia (about 435m) you can reach San Polo, Fontesanta, Poggio alla Croce (towards Mount Muro) ... in short, is a true crossroads!
Ps Do not forget a dunk championship of the world to the little shop of San Donato ... Main Square dell'Antella (FI), Piazza Peruzzi.
