Da Ussita si sale con la carrozzabile del Fargno fino a quota 1750 m. Qui si svolta a sinistra a prendere il sentiero CAI n° 279 che, passando per la sella della Banditella e seguendo la linea di cresta, arriva alla cima di Croce di Monte Rotondo (1926 m), splendido balcone sulla Val di Panico e sull'altopiano di Macereto. La discesa è per il ripido pendio delle Casette fino ai Piani di Pao. Dal rifugio dei pastori si prende un esile sentiero che costeggia dapprima la strada carrozzabile e poi s'immerge nel fitto bosco di Pao fino ad arrivare all'abitato di Casali. Dopo qualche centinaio di metri di asfalto si lascia la strada principale e si svolta a sinistra (una vecchia targa di legno indica il sentiero) per un ultimo tratto tecnico sempre nel bosco che termina a Capovallazza da dove si arriva ad Ussita costeggiando l'omonimo torrente.

From Ussita go up the road with Fargno up to 1750 m altitude. Here you turn left to take the CAI n ° 279, passing through the saddle Banditella and following the ridge line, get to the top of the Cross of Monte Rotondo (1926 m), a beautiful balcony overlooking the Val di Panico and on ' Macereto plateau. The descent is the steep slope of the houses up to the Plans of Pao. From the shelter of the shepherds take a slender path that runs along the carriage road at first and then immersed in the dense forest of Pao until you get to the village of Casali. After a few hundred meters of asphalt you leave the main road and turn left (an old wooden plaque indicates the path) for a final stretch technician always in the woods that ends at Capovallazza where you get to Ussita along the eponymous creek .
