L'itinerario parte a 300 mt. sl/m sulla vecchia fondovalle ghiaiata, in pochi km si arriva a 600 mt. poi affrontiamo un paio di km di carrareccia scassata in discesa.
Si pedala nel bosco e al km.7,5 ci troviamo dei piccoli laghetti artificiali
poi siamo subito sotto a una frana che pare invalicabile... ci si arrampica con bici in spalla sulla sx del torrente con breve passaggio esposto (fare attenzione e seguire la traccia)
dove si sbuca in un casolare con vecchio mulino
Si continua a salire senza difficoltà fino al paesino di Gaiato (km.12 - 700mt.sl/m), volendo le fatiche son finite e ci si può "buttar giù" per la bellissima ghiaiata di 4km. chiudendo l'anello....
oppure, se la fame si fa sentire, si pedala ancora per 2,5 km su asfalto (100 mt. dislivello, una passeggiata..) fino a raggiungere Pianelli dove si trova bar, alimentari, oppure ristorante (consigliato, ce lo siamo guadagnato).
Da qua, belli pieni, discesa di rientro fino al panaro per 7 bei chilometri. Da Marano sul Panaro, percorrere la fondovalle per 25km direzione Fanano, in corrispondenza del fiume Scoltenna comincia il giro, ampia possibilità di posteggio auto.

or, if hunger is felt, you ride again for 2.5 km on asphalt (100 mt. altitude, a walk ..) to reach pianelli where you will find bars, grocery, or restaurant (recommended, we earned it).
From here, filled with beautiful, down to return to the beautiful panaro for 7 kilometers. From Marano sul Panaro, along the valley floor for 25km towards Fanano, at the river Scoltenna begins the round, wide range of car parking.
