Questo itinerario ricavato dalla Gran Fondo per Mtb "La Terre Rosse 2013" svoltasi il 21/07/2013 è un vero e proprio tour del Montello perché lo gira in lungo e in largo. Partendo dal parcheggio del Centro sportivo di Volpago del Montello, dove si può parcheggiare l'auto, il percorso si snoda attraverso strade sterrate e molti sentieri che immergono il biker totalmente nei boschi del Montello.La strada asfaltata si percorre a piccoli tratti, quasi inesistenti. L'itinerario è' indicato con dei cartelli affissi agli alberi con la dicitura "LTR", in alcuni casi è segnato come sentiero con dei colori bianco/rosso sempre sugli alberi che mostrano la direzione da seguire in altri ancora ci sono dei segnali orizzontali sul fondo stradale con delle frecce bianco/rosse, però consiglio a chi ha un gps di scaricare la traccia perché cartelli e segni sugli alberi non sempre sono ben visibili. Altra cosa da dire...ATTENZIONE NON PERCORRETE questo itinerario se i giorni prima c'è stata una pioggia forte, perché il fango su questi sentieri diventa un serio problema!!. Alcuni sentieri sono segnati da "canaloni" sul fondo, dunque attenzione ad eventuali cadute. In alcuni tratti di sentieri poi ci sono radici e grandi pietre affioranti. Se siete a corto d'acqua fate una piccola deviazione alla fontanella nella zona della Parrocchia di Santa Maria della Vittoria ristoro per tutti i ciclisti che percorrono la zona. Ultima cosa...l'itinerario in qualche punto è' sbarrato da qualche alberello o ramo caduto a terra che facilmente si può scavalcare smontando dalla bici.

The route is' indicated by signs posted on the trees with the words "LTR", in some cases it is marked as a path with color white / red always on the trees showing the direction to follow in others there are signs on the horizontal road with arrows white / red, but would recommend it to anyone who has a gps to download the track because signs and signs on the trees are not always clearly visible. Another thing to say ... CAUTION DO NOT WALK this route if the days before there was a heavy rain, the mud because of these paths become a serious problem !!. Some trails are marked by "gullies" on the bottom, so be careful with any falls. In some parts of paths then there are roots and large rocks outcropping. If you are short of water take a small detour to the fountain in the area of ??the Parish of Santa Maria della Vittoria catering for all cyclists traveling through the area. Last thing ... the route at some point is' barred from any tree or branch fell on the floor that you can easily override disassembling the bike.
