PREMESSA: l'anello in questione, a parere dello scrivente, deve essere fatto soltanto "eccezionalmente" in condizione di fondo innevato in quanto si svolge su strade prevalentemente asfaltate che, dopo copiose precipitazioni nevose, si sono trasformate in vere e proprie piste da snowbike (raccomando di accertarsi prima delle condizioni del tracciato e consiglio di mettere nello zaino un paio di ghette)
Ennesima uscita solitaria del Cinghiale! In questi "giorni della merla", la gente che mi incrocia mentre pratico il mio sport come se fosse una gornata primaverile, mi osserva con lo sguardo che oscilla tra lo stupito e l'invidioso....mah...sono abituato a non curarmi di loro...e così, giusto il tempo di un'anisetta al bar ed inizio a pedalare scendendo al fiume Tordino. Stamattina il corso d'acqua è in gran parte ghiacciato. Inizio a salire lungo la brecciata che porta a contrada Mezzanotte, al primo bivio svolto a sx, al bivio successivo invece prendo a dx per la ripida salita che porta fino alla sommità del colle. Il fondo oggi è perfetto. La pochissima neve caduta nella notte si è depositata sul ghiaccio rendendo praticabili anche gli strappi più ripidi. Arrivato sul crinale di Colle Addina, prendo a dx e percorro per intero la su lunga strada panoramica. La visuale spazia su tutta la catena del Gran Sasso e dei Monti della Laga, alla mia sx in lontananza si scorge la Majella mentre a dx trovo i Monti Gemelli. Giunto nel punto più alto del tracciato non mi resta che scendere con prudenza su fondo innevato fino all'abitato di Frondarola. Raggiungo le porte del paese dopo aver percorso una vecchia starda interpoderale con bici a spalla tra la neve alta. Uscito sulla provinciale bypasso un tratto di statale prendendo per Villa Ripa dalla chiesa della Madonna di Ponte a Porto. Ripresa la statale, dopo circa un km, svolto improvvisamente a dx per una stretta traccia che si innesta sulla vecchia strada per Montorio.Oramai solo poche pedalate mi separano dal punto di partenza.

Yet another exit lone Boar! In these "days of the blackbird", people who cross me while I practice my sport as if it were a spring Friendship Day, looking at me with a look that ranges between amazed and envious .... mah ... I'm used to not bothering them ... and so, just long enough to anisette to the bar and start pedaling down the river Tordino. This morning the water course is mostly frozen. Start to climb along the brecciated leading to the district Midnight, at the first fork held in the left, at the next junction take a right instead to the steep slope leading up to the top of the hill. The fund is now perfect. The small amount of snow fell during the night was deposited on the ice making it feasible even steeper tears. Arrived on the crest of Colle Addina, take a right and I walk in full on the long scenic route. The view sweeps across the chain of Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga, to my left in the distance you can see the Majella while to find the right Twin Mountains. Arrived at the highest point of the track I just have to get down carefully on snowy roads to the village of Frondarola. I reach the gates of the country after traveling starda interpoderale an old bike with a shoulder between the deep snow. Released on the provincial bypasso a stretch of road to taking Villa Ripa from the church of the Madonna di Ponte in Porto. Back on the road after about a mile, suddenly played right along a narrow track that joins the old road to Montorio.Oramai only a few rides separate me from the starting point.
