Partenza da Travesio. Percorrendo la pista ciclabile e passando per Toppa si giunge a Meduno. Si svolta a destra (indicazioni Rifugio Alpino) ed in salita, superando alcuni tornanti, si raggiunge Forca Meduno. Proseguendo dritti si perviene a Forchia Piccola dove sulla destra inizia la salita che porta a casera Valins. Superata la malga (alloggio agrituristico) si arriva in prossimità della rampa per il decollo dei parapendii. Retrocedendo di alcuni metri si prende la strada strerrata che scende sulla destra e superato il cancello ci si dirige verso la casera Valins. Oltrepassata la vecchia casera, in mezzo ad un prato, si intravedono i bolli bianco rossi segnavia sentiero Cai n. 819. La traccia porta fino alla cima del m.te Ciaurlec. A causa delle asperità del sentierio (rocce e pendenza) in diversi punti si è costretti a scendere dalla mtb e procedere a piedi (in totale circa 20/30 minuti). Raggiunta la vetta (ultimi 20 metri a piedi) si retrocede al bivio incrociato precedentemente e si prosegue in discesa verso casera Tamar (ad un minuto). La discesa (sotto bosco) è veramente bella e ripaga le fatiche fin ora patite. Una volta raggiunta la Casera Selvaz si continua lungo un traverso sottobosco (saliscendi) e poi con breve ma ripida discesa fino ad arrivare nei pressi loc. I Piani. Si seguono indicazioni per Clauzetto e poi lungo strada asfaltata si perviene nuovamente a Travesio.

Departure from Travesio. Along the bike path and through Toppa you reach Meduno. Turn right (signposted Mountain Refuge) and up the hill past few switchbacks, you reach Forca Meduno. Continuing straight ahead you will reach a small Forchia where the climb begins on the right that leads to casera Valins. After passing the hut (farmhouse accommodation) you get near the ramp for paragliders taking off. Retreating a few meters take the road that goes down strerrata on the right and passed the gate we head towards the dairy Valins. Beyond the old cheese factory in the middle of a meadow, you can see the stamps white red signpost Cai n. 819. The trail leads to the summit of Mt Ciaurlec. Because of the unevenness of the sentierio (rocks and slope) at different points you are forced to get off the bike and walk (in total about 20-30 minutes). After reaching the summit (the last 20 meters) you go back to the fork crossed previously and continue downhill towards casera Tamar (for one minute). The descent (in the forest) is really nice and repays the hardships endured until now. Once you reach the Casera Selvaz continue along a traverse undergrowth (ups and downs) and then with a short but steep descent until you get near loc. Plans. Follow signs for Clauzetto and then along the paved road you come back to Travesio.
