Il giro presenta nella parte iniziale asfalto pianeggiante per poi iniziare a salire di quota; a Treciminiere c'è la svolta per quello che è il vero obbiettivo del giro, la cicloippovia dell'Oasi WWF dei Calanchi di Atri. La cicloippovia si snoda su strada bianca per diversi km con veloci saliscendi. Arrivati quasi alla fine si svolta a destra per iniziare la erta salita di circa 3 km con punte anche al 25-30% di pendenza. Alla fine della salita c'è la sede del centro visite dell'Oasi dove una sosta è d'obbligo, otre che per riprendere fiato, anche per ammirare lo splendido panorama sui monti del Gran Sasso. Successivamente si riprende la pedalata che ci porta ad attraversare il paese di Atri e scendere verso Pineto per la fine del giro.

The cicloippovia runs on dirt road for several miles with quick ups and downs. Arrived almost at the end turn right to start the steep climb of about 3 km, with peaks at 25-30% gradient. At the end of the climb is the seat of the Oasis visitor center where a park is a must, that bottle to catch my breath, even to admire the splendid panorama of the mountains of Gran Sasso. Then you take the ride that takes us through the village of Atri Pineto and down towards the end of the tour.
