Dal Bacino prendere la strada sulla parte destra guardandolo dalla diga,
dopo aver costeggiato il bacino continuare sempre dritto seguendo il
fiume, ad un primo bivio proseguire diritto. Poi la strada diventa
sterrata e inizia a salire. Poco dopo incontriamo un importante crocevia
(Ca' Fontana del Boia), proseguire a sinistra (indicazione in legno
"Vecchiette") per il Poggio delle Vecchiette. La salita è lunghetta,
tutta nel bosco ma mai impegnativa. Arrivato al Poggio delle Vecchiette
prendere a sinistra il sentiero CAI segnato 1 in decisa discesa. Seguire
il segnato CAI, incontrando un grande rudere, fino ad arrivare su una
grande sterrata in località San Giuseppe. Prendere la sterrata a destra
in salita tra ampi panorami sulla Valle del Bisenzio fino a che
incontriamo (nei pressi di una casa) la carrareccia a destra in salita.
Prendere questa strada, dopo qualche centinaio di metri si incontra una
stupenda fontana. Arrivati in cima (Sasso Bibbio), prendere a sinistra
il segnato CAI 001, prima con un pezzetto a piedi poi tutto
stupendamente pedalabile nel bosco (tenere la destra ai bivi direzione
Gavigno) fino all'Eremo del Viandante. Dall'eremo prendere la stradella
in salita e dopo un centinaio di metri ci si trova al passo sotto il
Monte Calvi (panorama mozzafiato). Da questo passo buttarsi giù sotto le
rocce per il segnato CAI per Chiapporato. Prima il sentiero fa uno
spettacolare traverso nelle rocce, poi entra nel bosco. Dopo un tratto
obbligato a piedi la discesa si fa un po' più umana anche se sempre di
difficoltà alta per le grosse pietre e i tornanti stretti. Arrivati
all'abitato (per modo di dire) di Chiapporato si prende a destra per la
carrozzabile sterrata per Stagno, prima con un paio di chilometri in
salita ripida, poi in discesa. Arrivati sull'asfalto prendere in salita
a destra per poche centinaia di metri fino dove finisce (grande cancello
della centrale elettrica di Suviana). Qui prendere la stradella segnata
CAI a destra in ripida salita. La salita continua sempre durissima fino
a che spiana in uno spiazzo erboso, attenzione qui a prendere il segnato
CAI a sinistra in direzione Luogo Umano. Sia sale in un'abetaia, poi si
fa un pezzo a piedi in salita e si incontrano un paio di ruderi. Da qui
il sentiero scorre bello e pedalabile nel bosco (sempre segnato CAI)
fino a che comincia a scendere. Qua sembra di essere dentro una pista di
Bob, poi la discesa si fa molto divertente e senza particolari problemi
fino a che si arriva in una stradina asfaltata. Qui prendere a destra in
discesa e in breve si incontra la strada del lago che a cui torniamo
girando a sinistra. Parcheggio del ristorante proprio appena sopra il Bacino

From Basin to take the road on the right side looking from the dam, Buy, after skirting the basin continue straight following the
river, at the first fork go right. Then the road becomes dirt
and begins to climb. Shortly after we meet an important crossroads
(Ca 'Fountain of the Executioner), turn left (signposted in wood | "Vecchiette") for the Poggio delle Vecchiette. The climb is longish, Buy, all in the woods but never demanding. Arrived at Poggio delle Vecchiette
take the left path CAI scored 1 in strong descent. Follow
the marked CAI, meeting a large ruin, until you get on a big dirt
in San Giuseppe. Take the dirt road to the right
uphill between sweeping panoramas of the Valley Bisenzio until we meet
(near a house) the cart uphill to the right.
Take this road, after a few hundred meters you meet a
lovely fountain. At the top (Sasso Bibbio), take a left
the marked CAI 001, first with a piece and then walk all
beautifully pedaled in the woods (keep right at the crossroads direction
Gavigno) up to the Hermitage of the Wayfarer. From the hermitage
take the small road uphill and after a few hundred meters away there is the step in the
Monte Calvi (breathtaking). From this step, jump down to the rocks below the
marked CAI for Chiapporato. Before the trail makes a spectacular
sideways into the rocks, then enter the forest. After a stretch
forced to walk the descent becomes a bit 'more human though always
high difficulty for the big rocks and tight switchbacks. Arrived
village (so to speak) Chiapporato takes you right to the dirt to paved
Pond, first with a couple of kilometers in
steep uphill, then downhill. Arrived on the tarmac to take
uphill to the right for a few hundred meters up where it ends (big gate
powerhouse Suviana). Here, take the small road on the right marked
CAI steep climb. The climb continues up
always hard to paving in a grassy, attention here to take the marked CAI
left towards Place Human. Both salt in fir-wood, then
does a piece to walk uphill and you will encounter a couple of ruins. From here the trail runs
beautiful and pedaled into the woods (always marked CAI)
until it begins to descend. Here seems to be in an ice
Bob, then the descent is very funny and no particular problems
until it comes to a paved road. Here turn right
down and you will soon meets the road of the lake to which we return
turning left. Parking lot of the restaurant right just above the Basin
