Die Tour startet am alten Kanal beim Real. Es kann aber auch der LGS Schauturm oder schon weiter in Richtung Pilsach z.B. das Tchibo-Logistik-Zentrum gewählt werden. Von dort aus geht es in Richtung Habersmühle. Kurz vor der Habersmühle rechts abbiegen und über die Brücke der A3 fahren. Dann weiter in Richtung Pilsach. Am Ortseingang scharf nach links hoch zum Schützenhaus. Am Schützenhaus vorbei und weiter die Teerstraße hoch, die beim Waldrand in einen Schotterweg übergeht. Auf der Hochfläche angekommen nach einer links-rechts Kombination vorbei am Segelflugplatz Ottenberg. Auf Feldwegen bis nach Litzlohe. Dort dann hinein in den Grafenbucher Forst auf gut ausgebauten Forstwegen. In der Mitte des Grafenbucher Forstes kreuzt die Straßen von Brenzenwang nach Buschhof. Dieser kurz in Richtung Buschhof (nach rechts) folgen und dann wieder links rein auf eine Forststraße bis zum Wendehammer (dort ist auch ein Hochsitz). Hier kommt dann ein ca. 800 m Wurzelweg (teilweise schlammig nach Regenfällen). Wenn das geschafft ist, sieht man am Waldrand schon den Haunberg, der mit 637 m den "Höhepunkt" der Tour darstellt. Vom Haunberg gehts weiter in Richtung Dietrichstein. Bei der ehemaligen Burg ist ein schöner Rastplatz im Wald mit Kapelle. Von dort aus dann ein Downhill in Richtung Nattershofen. Nach kurzem Aspalt-Abschnitt in Richtung Velburg (NM1 nach Süden) wieder rechts den Berg hoch. Jetzt heißt es Strecke machen zurück nach Neumarkt. Sehr schön ist noch das Seitental der Laaber bis Eschertshofen. Von Eschertshofen kurz hoch nach Laaber. Dort dann nach links in Richtung Pelchenhofen auf Feldwegen. Hier noch ein Schotter-Downhill zum Bach bei Ottosau. Dort wieder auf der Straße hoch zum Wolfstein mit der schönen Aussicht über Neumarkt beim Krähentisch. Als letzter Downhill folgt dem Wanderweg hinunter nach Neumarkt - Vorsicht Wanderer! Unten angekommen lockt der Biergarten am Schafhof mit einem schönen Ausblick auf Neumarkt. Here's a gravel downhill to the creek at Ottosau. Here again high on the road to Wolfenstein with the beautiful views of Neumarkt in crows table. The last downhill the trail follows down to Neumarkt - Attention hikers! Once at the bottom attracts the beer garden at the sheep farm with a beautiful view of Neumarkt. Enjoy your descendants!
