Die Tour startet in Pogoriach am Parkplatz beim Schotterweg Richtung Hundsmarhof, man bleibt aber rechts und fährt leichte Steigungen durch Wald und Wiesen. Kleine Abfahrten unterbrechen den Aufstieg nach Heiligengeist. Bei ehemaligen Liftparkplatz vorbei fährt man weiter Richtung Hundsmarhof. Nach einem halben Kilometer fährt man rechts hoch Richtung Kaserin. Nach weiteren 350 Hm erreicht man den höhsten Punkt (1320) und fahrt bald rassant die Villacher Alpenstraße hinunter. Leicht übersieht man die Abzweigung zum Highlight der Tour: den Geissteig. Zuerst führt ein grober Schotterweg hinab bis man den Steig erreicht. Zuerst flach durch den Wald, wird er aber bald anspruchsvoller, zweitweise auch etwas ausgesetzt. Mit etwas Mut und starren Blick geradeaus ist er aber immer gut fahrbar. Wurzelwege führen zurück zum Ausgangspunkt (Nach Regenfällen ist der Steig glatt wie Schmierseife - besser nicht fahren)
